We provide the $39 30 Point Inspection service that includes: measuring the temperature split over the evaporator coil, refrigerant levels and pressures, Amp draw of the compressor and condenser fan motor, cleaning condenser coil, checking all electrical components, calibrate the thermostat, check evaporator coil for dirt - pet hair and - biologic impaction. "We purchased new inside and outside A/C unit from Service Air in 2021. We also had them put something in our attic for allergens. In 2023, the bulb went out and was replaced under the warranty we purchased separately. The new bulb went out in 2025, still under warranty, and Service Air decided to charge us $359.00 to replace it although it was STILL under warranty. Because of this, I won?t be recommending Service Air to anyone in the future. And will be sure to share my experience with anyone who will listen. Not a reputable company in my experience."

Air ducts should be cleaned every three to five years, though the frequency can vary based on factors such as household conditions and local environmental factors. For homes with pets, smokers, or high dust levels, more frequent cleanings every two to three years would be necessary to maintain optimal air quality. If you notice persistent odors, significant dust buildup, or signs of mold or rodent activity, schedule a cleaning sooner.

Any unexplained smell in your house should be investigated. However, some home odors are "red flag" worrisome because they pose immediate health and safety risks. Odors should be taken seriously when accompanied by headaches, nausea, or lightheadedness. If you smell an egg-like aroma, this is probably natural gas. You should leave the home immediately, and  contact your gas company.  

No, it’s not normal for AC vents to drip condensation. A sweating AC vent is a sign of something wrong and can lead to issues like air duct rust or mold growth. Your HVAC unit might not be working efficiently because of a dirty filter or clogged ducts. Alternatively, your ductwork might not have adequate insulation, which allows the cool air in the ducts to meet the humid air outside, causing condensation.

Your home’s location also plays a central role. For example, if you live in climates with a lot of moisture, humidity, wind, dirt, or dust, you’ll likely need to have your coils cleaned more than once yearly.
