First let me say that One-Hour installed my existing unit 11 years ago and have provided the annual serving during that time and I've had no complaints with the quality of their service. However, I was disappointing with the way One-hour negotiated the price to replace the unit. The sales rep worked closely with me throughout the process and answered all my questions while I also obtained 3 other quotes for the system upgrades. However, over the time frame I was obtaining other quotes the sales rep relentlessly reminded me that One-Hour has the only "certified engineer" to perform the calculation for properly sizing the duct work. He stated I should be aware that other companies do not have anyone certified and I should take that into account in selecting a company as the duct work can easily get screwed up if not done by a certified engineer. In speaking with each of the other 3 companies they all confirmed they are fully trained and knowledgeable on how to right size the ducts to obtain maximum efficiency and even temperature control throughout the house. They all stated they have been installing ducts for many years and know how to do it properly. The company I selected stated they guarantee the temperature from one end of the house to the other will not more than a 3 degree difference, same guarantee as One-Hour. When I selected the exact Heat Pump equipment I wanted installed, I requested One-Hours final quote to compare and make a decision who to go with. The owner required that to give me his best price I first needed to provide him with the other quotes. Of course I did not do this as I found the method of negotiating the final price unethical and shared that with the sales rep. Only after I refused did I get his final quote.

GET A SECOND QUOTE ELSWHERE! I had been living in my house for about 6 months and was noticing a musty/moldy smell coming from the vents. I called this company to come give me an estimate to clean my duct work. The gentlemen didn't even open the top portion of my AC unit and before he even took one look into my issue he started to try to sell me some type of perma sealing that goes all throughout your duct work. Needless to say he quoted me $8,000. And was pressuring me to put 50% down and sign a contract. Fortunately for him I'm not an idiot. Another company came out and after bring at my property for 5 minutes discovered mold! It was in plain sight had this gentlemen just took a few minutes to disconnect another portion of my ac unit. The mold was all throught my ducts! This second company quoted about $6500 less to actually fix my problem! So frustrating!please do not let this company take your money! Do your research!

Stay away from these guys! Total scam artists! Our 3 year old AC unit was installed by a company bought out by One Hour, so we called them when our AC seemed to be underperforming. Repairman came out, spent 2 hours, took pictures. Showed me white "growth" in returns, leaks in attic ducts, excessive "air pressure" reading, underperforming capacitor. Said the required fix was $15K in new duct work. The cheapest option was $7K for a UV light for ducts. Never addressed the cooling issue except to say that he could change capacitor; part was covered under warranty but labor was $190. I declined all options and got charged $90 for the visit, which was nothing but a glorified sales pitch. Next day, I had another AC guy out. He said the unit was working fine, ducts were great apart from a minor leak (quickly fixed with tape), capacitor perfect, and the "growth" was dust! The problem was just that it's summer and the unit was putting out all the cool air it could and should. In short, everything (except the leak) that One Hour said was total lies! Will NEVER call again, even though they do have our warranty.

Amount still owed on system: $2,475.64. Replacement system cost $13,299.00 installed 2-23-2019. Also paying additional balance of $9,043.82 on duct work put in 4-26-2018 cost $9,427.00. Paying monthly comfort Club agreement $16.14. Company stated that the entire system was guaranteed for the full ten years. Company is refusing to honor its ten year full guarantee.

Service was great, from Brennan to Josh and the entire crew of workers. Inspected my system that I knew had to be replaced and ducts. The ducts were poorly designed and built and not adequate for the house. They came out on a Saturday, put in the new 5 ton HVAC the following day. Brand new ducts, thermostat and vents all put in the following Wednesday, a big job, but done right in one day. They completely cleaned up after them selves and even dealt with my 5 year old constantly following them around asking questions. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or hire again.

I have used One Hour AC for the past three years. They have always been superb both quality of the work and customer service. This last time the technician tried to sell me a complete duct system replacement and an expanded return duct due to insufficient air flow and possible mold/fungus His price for the above was $13,000. I asked for just duct cleaning and it was over $8000. I finally asked for return duct expansion costs and it was approximately $2000. Told him I was going for a second opinion. Bottom line, I only marginally needed duct cleaning. There was no mold or fungus. Total cost $495. The company spent 10 hours cleaning and sanitizing the ducts and vents. Before this event I would have highly recommended them and still do but don’t allow yourself to be sucked in into buying anything without a second or third opinion.

One Hour installed and serviced system since 2009. Ten year warranty has now turned into 5 year warranty. Continuing problems with Amana system manufactured by Goodman. Differing diagnosis' of problems with latest needing unit replacement.

We called them because our AC was not cooling and then they came. The person came he said ok everything is fixed. We paid something like two hundred dollars. Then the following day its still not cooling. Then he came the next day, it will be the different fee. Then he came and said it needs a capacitor. Then i was thinking shouldn't you have noticed that the first time we called you, like yesterday. So we paid another one. They shouldn't have charged us because it was less than just 24 hours. I didn't like that.

For me, it's free because I joined one of their protection plans, but the service call itself is $79. They're an A, excellent in everything. I would highly recommend them. They respond very quickly. They explain things well. The workers are very professional, very helpful. They explain thoroughly what's going on. They give you fair estimates of the repair in advance. They're very clean when they do their work. They don't leave any mess behind or anything like that. They wear protective clothing when they come in on their shoes so they don't track crap in your house.

I started using them to supply the filters for my furnaces. And I have been sufficiently pleased with their service, so now I have a maintenance contract with them. They do all of the work on my system. They were convinced that it was the heating coils on the inside of the house, so they replaced those. It took about 6 hours. I suspect that they left off a seal, which was a problem I had, which they fixed yesterday. This was a new guy and he's more experienced.

It was free, I have a maintenance contract. It was thorough. They cleaned up after themselves, and they wore little booties inside of my house. In addition to doing the things that were necessary to get the system running again, they also did a series of safety checks. Consequently as a result of those safety checks, they will be showing back up again this week. It took about two hours for the work to be completed.

I've been using them extensively over the last several years. They're friendly, courteous, respectful, and they certainly do their best to satisfy you. At one time I was dissatisfied with a project that didn't go as I expected. After I spoke with the regional manager, however, everything was straightened out and they even returned the portion of payment that I requested. We pay about $190 for the year. They check the air conditioning unit for freon levels, check inflow and out flow. They also clean the coils, change filters. All around general routine maintenance. 

They spend a lot of time trying to up sale other services, I much rather they do the intended service and go on.

Basically paid for service call only. Technician gave ridiculously over priced quote to replace AC fan motor that should have been covered under manufacturer warranty. Called another company, that contacted the original part manufacturer--- no problem to cover part, as it was indeed still under warranty. I only had to pay that company 90$ for labor. If I would have gone with One Hour, their quote was $ 2,400. One hour was very responsive and punctual, but because their quote was unrealistic, combined with their lack of follow through on warranty coverage, I will never use this company again.
