Great they know what they are doing

All was ok.

There was a mishap that occurred afterwards. We felt it had to be an error on their part which costed us more money. At one point, they were "it" in the area. They bought out two other HVAC companies. They were responsive. I don't think I've ever had a problem with their punctuality or their responsiveness.

Norrell is who we've used for years. It depends on the technician. One reason why we're going with somebody else is our experience has been either they find something more catastrophic that leads them to more revenue or there's nothing wrong. This has been within the course of 6 months. Some of the technicians were superb. It's a variable thing. It was pretty inexpensive.

We had Climate Control Service Experts come in years ago, I don't recommend them at all. The guy went up into our attic and there was a whole lot of bang going on and then he comes down and says we need the new coolant and compressor and it was at the end of the day and we have to wait to the morning and then the house started getting hotter and hotter and hotter, so I have a feeling he did something.

The job went good. They were in and out in half a day. I have used them before. They were clean, efficient, courteous, professional and cleaned up after themselves.

My review covers three service calls (two routine maintenance) and a requested for a quote for a new system. 
Previously had a service contract with them on an existing HVAC unit.  The pricing for the service was reasonable, and the techs were thorough and professional.  The two techs that I dealt with were nice, punctual, and knowledgeable.  My wife dealt with the third tech and said he was a little condescending towards her. 
The service call when the system went down went well; they arrived quickly on a cold morning and diagnosed the problem just as fast and recommended a part replacement that could be installed that day for $275.  Since I had an existing leak on my EV coil (verified by another HVAC company) and the system was 12+ years old, I knew it was time to replace the system.  So rather than spend money on the part, I asked for a quote for a new system.  The sales guy came out within an hour and started his evaluation which was decently thorough but not as thorough as a competing company's review.  He was fairly knowledgeable and friendly.
I have two problems with Service Experts: the first is the sales process.  When the sales rep comes to your house, he wants you to make a decision that day.  He wants your signature to move forward and really does not give you time to think about the decision, which is significant.  He lays out your options from most expensive to least (which was helpful).  I am not sure if Lennox is the only brand they carry but it is the only brand he is going to sell to you.  When I mentioned to the sales rep that I wanted to call around and get other quotes/opinions, his attitude changed very quickly.  He got pretty short with me and said that he was going to be the most expensive in town and packed up his stuff and walked out.  So if you call them for a system quote, you should know that they want you to commit that day and judging by his responses, they are more expensive than everyone else and only deal with Lennox.
My second issue is that our master bedroom is always cold in the winter, hot in the summer.  In the three visits to the house that the techs made, not one tech ever figured out the issue nor came up with a solution.  I finally called another company (ARS in Pensacola, they are affiliated with Home Depot) for a replacement quote a few weeks ago and they pointed out there was a ducting issue, within 10 minutes of being at the house.  I finally dropped enough hints with Service Experts to look at the ducting and they figured it out (I should not have to do that).
In the end, I called ARS in Pensacola back, we agreed on a price and system and they installed it that same day (should be noted the installers left at 2AM).  I got a lot more bang for my buck at ARS, a better system, better warranty and great service.  If you are considering Service Experts for a system replacement, make sure you get other quotes.

Multiple visits - all positive

I spent $5300 on that service. They all were very nice and continued to work until they got it right.

I came home on Friday afternoon after being out of town for a few days and could tell there was water dripping into the blower fan. I knew the drain was probably clogged up but couldn't tell which line was the drain line. I called Climate Control because I had a good experience with them before in repairing a hole in my ductwork. Even though it was late Friday afternoon, they were able to get a technician to my house within a couple of hours. He came in and introduced himself and went right to work. He had the drain unclogged in no time and, when I asked about the service contract, he told me that buying the service contract would be cheaper than what the normal cost would be for the work he had done. Of course, I signed up for the contract whereupon Steve went ahead and checked the rest of the unit and cleaned it up outside. It's working better than ever.

Bragg (the tech) is a pleasant fellow and he spent most of his time answering my questions about both of my systems. I feel like I remedied my ignorance about heating and A/C somewhat in one afternoon. He also emphasized simple things to extend the life of the units, rather than talking about replacements. I actually enjoyed the visit.

The experience was fine, they gave us great service. He was a friendly guy. We even talked politics, even though we didn't see eye to eye he was still but he was awesomely polite and good about it. He also gave us tips on how to maintain it every few months to prevent it from happening again. We haven't had a problem since.

They are really prompt and reasonable. My daughter has used them three times and finds them to be wonderful. I had paid for the first job that they had performed. They are super pleasant and simply excellent. I would recommend them to anybody.

They come out and replace filters and fix the heating and air conditioning. They did a big fix for me in the Spring. They replaced a heat pump and everything was fine. Once again, they came in, they were fully prepared when they came, they were gone in about four hours.

Climate Control showed up on time and did their job. I thought charges were a little high. Technician tried to sell me a service contract but did not insist on it.
