We purchased new inside and outside A/C unit from Service Air in 2021. We also had them put something in our attic for allergens. In 2023, the bulb went out and was replaced under the warranty we purchased separately. The new bulb went out in 2025, still under warranty, and Service Air decided to charge us $359.00 to replace it although it was STILL under warranty. Because of this, I won?t be recommending Service Air to anyone in the future. And will be sure to share my experience with anyone who will listen. Not a reputable company in my experience.

Best service in Baldwin county! Back in January 2018 Service Air came out during period of extremely cold weather to look at heat pump which was frosted over and not heating, due to faulty defroster thingy. Determined best option was to replace 14 year old condenser and was quoted price for replacement. However... I opted to postpone replacement until spring since we don't have that much cold weather. Never got around to it, but one hot day in July, condenser just died and no A/C. Emailed at 7am on a Friday, had a phone call at 7:20am - they would have a replacement unit picked up and sent out for installation later in the afternoon. Technicians showed up about 2:30, I had cool air flowing by 4pm. Have used Service Air 3-4 times over the last several years and each time had immediate response and resolution/repair same day. Each and every person I have had contact with was very professional. As far as ratings go, I give this firm excellent in all categories, but in this situation I had no time to comparison shop, so I can't speak to the price being anything but in the fair range. They could be pricey or very competitive, that was not the primary factor in my decision to work with this firm. Highly recommend!

I worked closely with the owner since this was an expensive project. They're good honest people and they worked with me on the price.

Went great. They came, they worked, they made cjecked it and gave it a clean bill of health and cleaned the coils which was what was found in the inspection report for sale of house.

It’s the best thing we ever did because we are in an old house and these guys are probably the best and they are so responsive. Every time I call, they are responsive. These guys will come out and they don’t even charge me. They are always on time and always answers the phone even on a Sunday.

It did not work out very well. They were kind of lazy. They didn't do the things they were supposed to do. When I reported it to the owner, they refunded me twice the amount that I paid. I did think it was very strange to get double my money back. They sent a check for $80. They came out really quickly after the deal was purchased. They were nice. The owners were real responsive.

The person (Sandy) answering the phone was quickly responsive, realizing there was already a tech (Ben) in our neighborhood.  She was very pleasant and called him to come to our house as soon as he was finished with the other home in our neighborhood.  Ben arrived in a short time, completed the tuneup, searched for an apparent leak, and discovered the thermostat wasn't working.  He ordered a new one and came back the next day to install it.  AC is now working as it should.  Ben was quite nice and likable and we were comfortable with him in our home.  Even our snarly dog got used to him quickly.

From the 1st visit to get estimate to the installation, the company was professional, courteous friendly and on time.  Each person was dressed in a clean, monogrammed uniform.  Their trucks and equipment was first class.  At all times they answered questions and made us feel like we were in good hands.  Their price was actually lower than the big box store and they offered a 3 year, 0% plan.  They are local and the unit has a 10 yr parts and compressor warranty and a 2 yr labor warranty.

Friday night when I first called the owner, he was at dinner with his wife. He arrived a little over an hour later and did the diagnosis. Because my system is 22 years old, he recommended I replace the complete outside condensing unit at a cost of approximately $2300. I explained my financial situation did not permit me to do that at this time. I would take the risk of replacing only the compressor. On Monday we began shopping for the best price.  After locating a new slightly used unit on Tuesday, he showed up at 8:30 AM on Wednesday as promised and got my system up and running in under two hours.  He and his service tech were courteous and professional and the price was right. I would highly recommend this company!
