All of the projects were performed very well. The matching and blending does for the popcorn ceiling repairs were truly amazing. 1) Closet removal - & popcorn ceiling repair - excellent. 2) Added pony wall around stairs to basement - excellent 3) Added new storage room for washer/dryer - excellent 4) repaired numerous popcorn ceiling spots due to lighting changes. - SUPER, EXCELLENT

He was great! Even though he obviously had no money to gain from speaking with me, he spent 20 minutes leading me through what I needed to know and to do. Incredibly knowledgable, professional and kept me from making some big expensive mistakes. I wish he still lived in Florida because I'd steer a ton of business his way.

Mr Sanchez was honest, professional, and incredibly helpful. He did his best to prevent giving us a big bill by checking several possible causes using scanners/detectors. The problem was caused by a relatively minor issue, saving us lots of money by not tearing into our walls first where the problem seemed to be coming from. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Ted is the utmost professional who goes above and beyond your expectations. He really likes to solve problems, and truly cares about what he does. I recently had 3 home inspections completed by 3 different companies while I was searching to buy a new home. Ted's was by far the most thorough! I would recommend him to my family!

Best money I've ever spent! Before "allowing" me to spend my money on an inspection, Ted wanted to understand what I was concerned about. He immediately put my worst fears to rest and when he did the inspection, made valuable and practical suggestions. He was considerate of budget and gave several options. Does not sell additional services. Completely trustworthy.

We had a roof leak in a bedroom closet that went undetected for some time. When it was discovered the ceiling was turning black with mold. We called Reliance Inspections because of our concern with the black mold. Ted gave us some tips for dealing with the leak as we waited for the roofing company to replace our roof. Just before the roof was to be replaced Ted came to the house on a Sunday morning to inspect the attic and the closet ceiling. He went in the attic to inspect and photograph the leak area. He then spayed the closet ceiling with an antimicrobial solution and cleaned the ceiling with soap and water. He also recommended an antimicrobial paint to use later on. The mold turned out to be not as bad as it looked so the service call was worth it just for the peace of mind. Ted was prompt, professional and very knowledgeable confirming what others have said on this board.

Ted did and outstanding job! He and his employee were hired to do this job with a specific deadline to meet. They put in long hours to meet the time frame and met the requirements, all of the owners personal belongings were protected extremely well, the part of the house that was not being done, Ted put up barriers to keep the area of concern contained. Ted also did extra work that was not in the bid but he felt so strong about his work and his signature on a product that he did the work on his own. After Ted explained what he had done he was paid extra for the work he did, it was worth every penny. The house is made of all wood and when Ted got done it looked brand new.

Ted was responsive to my phone call. I left a message and he called me back in about 15 minutes. We scheduled an appt. and he arrived right on time. He went up into the attic, checked the type and frequency of the nails used to attach the roof and look for evidence of a water membrane barrier. Unfortunately, my roof was not put on with the highest of standards, but Ted was able to calculate the percentage of my roof that is considered a "hip" style roof. Because of that I did get a significant reduction in my home owner's insurance premium. I had an appt. to get to so had to leave before he was able to complete the window inspection that goes along with the wind mitigation. He came back the next morning at 7:00 am so I could get to other appts. I had and he completed the wind mit. form, complete with pictures and emailed it to me by 9:00 that morning. I would definitely use his service again.

Ted was highly professional, knowledgeable, and personable. He provided detailed descriptions of what he was seeing and recommended (in great detail) how the a/c unit needed to be cleaned. He even pointed out things an a/c company may try to do/add to the system that really wasn't necessary.
When I originally called him to request an inspection, we talked for about 15 minutes about my situation. Only near the end of the call, when he would have needed to write something down, did he mention he was on a roof bracing himself with one leg! As a consummate professional, prompt responsiveness was important to him.
While he doesn't typically write a report, he didn't hesitate to agree to provide me one to show to the landlord. Once the inspection was completed, we continued in a conversation about his family, my family, and our shared experience in the military. He is very friendly and interesting to talk to / learn from. I think so highly of him, that I finally (after many Angie's List experiences) decided to write my first review!

Mr. Sanchez correctly identified and safely removed the source of mold in our home.
He also identified other concerns such as dryer lint in the attic (a potential fire hazard), poor insulation and inadequate and dirty air conditioner ducts. He recommended gutters around the front of the house to keep rainwater from eroding the pavers on our driveway (as well as keeping the rainwater away from the slab).
In the months since his visit, we have had our ductwork replaced, the dryer lint removed, new insulation added and gutters installed. The room that contained the source of the mold has been remodeled. We've had no problems with mold since then. We have also benefitted from lower heating and cooling costs as well as the cessation of erosion of our pavers. Mr. Sanchez's ability to accurately evaluate the "big picture" and make specific recommendations for intervention has resulted in a measurably better quality of life for us. His professionalism and expertise is second to none. I recommend him without hesitation.

My parents own a condo in Seminole. For health reasons, they were unable to check on their condo. We contacted Ted Sanchez, of Reliance Inspections, to see whether he could inspect and take care of the mold issue. Reliance Inspections was rated high on Angie's List and for good reason. Ted Sanchez went above and beyond what he needed to do! He was honest, professional, and really thorough in his work. Not only did he remove the mold and take care of the problem, he also gave us advice on what could cause potential problems in the future. We think Reliance Inspections, Inc. is a fantastic company! Ted was AWESOME! He is the owner of the company. If it were possible to give an A+++, I would. If you are looking for a home inspector, someone to handle mold inspection/remediation and any of the other areas described in 'Reliance Inspections' as services they render, than this is the company you should call. If Ted would have done the home inspection on our home before the closing, he would have saved $1,000's in repairs that the seller should have taken care of. He is thorough, detailed, operates with integrity and gives world class customer service and delivers on what he does. He handled himself and treated us like he was taking care of his own home. He also has served our country in the military. Give him a call, you'll be glad you did.

Ted was extremely professional, experienced and knowledgeable. I have many others out to inspect this mold-like growth on my foyer ceiling, and they just guessed as to what it was. He was the first one who knew exactly what this growth was and got rid of it. He made some extremely helpful suggestions to prevent the problem from reoccurring. I wish I had hired him 8 months ago.
