We had just moved in, and I suspect the shutters hadn't been dusted since they were installed years ago. I was surprised so many contractors do not work on shutters "it's not rocket science and just shutters!" We had them back this year and did windows and blinds. Nicely done Louis, Nick and their new young man (sorry I do not his name) If your windows have the build up "moss buildup" or any other impacted grime or loose dirt, at least look at the sills and at the very least , vacuum or wash out, or pre-treat, other wise be prepared to spend some money. Since these are weather related chores, he is very flexible
- Bluegrass Construction and DecksHe was great. When I contacted him, he came to my house right when he said he would come. He quickly got the supllies in the near hardware and got it done quickly. It was a very good service. I wasn't dissappointed in anything.
- ROLLAC SHUTTER OF TEXAS, INC.Appointment for final design was on calendar for one month. They were supposed to come at 1:00 p.m. -- their office manager called and said they were on their way at 9:00 a.m. Office manager was rude, but we insisted that the appointment be kept for 1:00 p.m. Scheduled installation for month in advance. They did not show up for first day of appointment with no phone call -- we waited from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at location of installation. The crew showed up at location on second day of installation; we were not informed that our electrician needed to be onsite for information on setting up controls; crew took 2 1/2 hour lunch. Needed to return to location on Saturday so that job could be completed

On a second (smaller) project, Allen's skill with our short paver paths has erased the ugliness of the previous bad job that we wasted our money on a year ago with someone else. Oh! To be able to walk on them without wobbling or catching our shoes or feeling scratchy sand all over the place. They're no longer a hazard.... they’re the beautiful accent we intended them to be. Jessica kept us well informed about the ‘business’ aspects of our project. We appreciated the ‘staged’ payment option presented in the initial proposal – defined payments by the stage of work completed, with the final payment coming only after she confirmed that the work was done to our satisfaction. “Our” crew (my apologies, Bluegrass, I don’t remember their names) were always on time, cheerful, and very hard-working! We are super-satisfied customers & will gladly recommend Bluegrass to anyone! We've unfortunately had some bad experiences with contractors before, so we recognize professionalism & quality workmanship when we see it and appreciate being able to trust the job is done well and our hard-earned money is well spent. After the two jobs Bluegrass did for us, the only regret is that we don't have any other projects to hire them for...but if some turn up, there's no doubt who we'll be calling!
