In business since 1993, Windowology is a full service shop at home interior window treatment provider in the Pacific Northwest. We are dedicated to providing beautiful yet functional window treatments that will highlight the best qualities of any room in your home or office while maintaining privacy and safety. Speaking of safety, we offer several lifting systems that are specifically designed for families with young children and furry friends. As a locally owned business here in the greater Puget Sound, happy customers are our lifeline. Yes, we absolutely do free design consultations. We also remove and disposal of the old window coverings, install your new window treatments, and provide service after the sale. We highly recommend Window-ology. We had several companies come out to give us options and estimates. Window-ology really listened to what we wanted and came up with an excellent solution. The price was competitive, and we would rate as excellent value. Installation went quickly and was done well. They came out and gave me a very good price and even mentioned I should use real wood slats to make the blinds lighter and that has worked well. I have used 'budget' company's before and usually the fit or color was off. They would give a slight break in the price to correct it instead of making it right.

Hal answered my email promptly and set up a consultation time to bring samples and measure. Originally, I was only going to replace the upstairs bedroom windows. The master bay window shade had not been installed very well and was pulling out of the sheet rock. Hal said he could install the new shades so that would no longer happen. I also asked him to measure the downstairs windows for replacement roman shades. He created a couple of estimates based on different materials and options and areas to replace window coverings. We decided to replace all the window coverings as we could get exactly what we wanted with quality shades and expert installation. Once we decided what we wanted, he set up an install date. He arrived as promised on the install date and within a couple of hours I had all new window coverings. I felt that the quality and service were exceptional. I have no hesitation recommending Window-ology to others.

Hal came to measure and install the products. He was extremely professional, intelligent, and friendly. The initial deposit made by phone with his wife was promptly followed by an email receipt. The whole process went smoothly, and the end result is so beautiful. He went out of his way to accommodate my request. 200% satisfied with their service. If you are looking for a real pro...hire Window-ology. I couldn't be happier with this company. Hal came out in a timely manner and offered me his best advice, multiple options for window coverings, and color consultation. I wanted to buy a product that took best advantage of my water view in my new condo. We settled on Hunter Douglas Woven Textures Roller Shades. I ordered the product in May. In the meantime, I was having new windows installed...a process that didn't go as planned and had to delay installation until that project was done. Hal held on to my shades without complaining and kept in touch with me throughout those months. Finally, yesterday was installation day (mid-August). The shades are AMAZING! And the installation went beautifully. I couldn't be happier with the entire experience with Window-ology. Thank you!

I can't recommend Window-ology highly enough. They are experts at what they do, in addition to being professional and kind. We've worked with lots of vendors recently on some home renovations, and my experience with Window-ology was by far the best of all. They responded to my initial inquiry quickly, and came to my house to give a quote. I described what I wanted from window treatments, and Hal, with his extensive knowledge of window treatments, had the perfect suggestions. He then measured the windows and emailed me multiple quotes for different options. When they came to do the installation, they were fast and professional. It was clear that Hal's extensive experience made the installation process go smoothly and quickly. Now that everything is installed, I'm amazed at how good all Hal's advice was. He really knows what he's doing, and I'm so happy with all the advice he gave and the work he did.

Prompt response to my request for a bid. Was out there two days later with plenty of samples to choose from. We decided on a middle priced solution and they did all the measurements then. About two weeks later we scheduled the install and it was done promptly and efficiently. His suggestions on color and style were perfect! Quality of the blinds was excellent and we are very happy! Highly recommended for window treatments!
