They are very good. They do good work on things that they do & provide service, thaty are the ones that cut trees instead using cherrypeaker.

I had scheduled an appointment for 8 a.m. They did not show, and at 10 a.m. I called the company. Seems that they had an emergency tree removal for the safety of a house, and there had been some confusion as to whether I was scheduled for morning or afternoon, as the appointment time hadn't been written down on their estimate sheet, so the office had not contacted me to advise of the emergency causing a delay as they thought the appointment was later in the day. HOWEVER -- they showed up before 1 p.m. that same day, and did quick, remarkable work. If you do schedule, make sure they put the TIME of the appointment down on the estimate sheet so that if there's an emergency causing a delay, they will contact you on time

They were here when they stated. started early in the morning(7:00 am or earlier) and stayed late when necessary.(9:00 Pm on last day}. The workers were very friendly and proffessional. They preformed jobs that were not included in the bid and provided some extras at no additional charge.

They do a good job. Having any problems, they come out when I ask them to. They do anything extra I ask him to. Prices are good.

They did a good job. I was really impressed with the work that they did and the timely manner in which they did it. I think that I got a fair price. They were very quick to get things done. They showed up when they said they would, they did the job and they got out of dodge. If anybody asked me for a work like that, they're gonna get the recommendation of them

We had to have a large shade tree cut down in the back yard. We also needed a large shade tree in the front trimmed. We hired A1 Timber Tree Service to do the job. Tyler and his crew did a phenomenal job and in record time! These guys were great. They raked, swept and cleaned up all the debris .

Field crew was good. Management (owner) was dishonest. Said she would honor a 15% discount coupon and said she would send a check based on amount paid, but she never did send the rebate. During a follow-up phone call, she said it takes time for the check to go through accounting. She lied twice and never paid the promised rebate. Would not recommend using this company. BEWARE. High-priced and dishonest. Don't believe that coupons work. If you present coupon at time of estimate, figure on seeing a higher estimate that covers any supposed discount

Tree Service FAQ

  1. How much does it cost to remove a tree?

Answer: Typically, tree removal costs between $200 and $2,000. Tree removal costs vary widely based on the number of trees being removed, the height of each tree, the diameter of each tree trunk, and accessibility to the tree. Smaller trees are usually less expensive to remove than larger ones, as are those that are more easily accessible.

  2. Do you need a permit to cut down a tree?

Answer: In many areas, you don’t need a permit to cut down a tree on your own private, residential property. But some municipalities may require tree removal permits for conservation purposes or to comply with local ordinances. When you hire a tree removal pro, they’ll be able to tell you whether you need a permit for your specific tree removal project.

  3. When is a good time to trim trees?

Answer: In most regions, the best time to trim your trees is during the winter months. During the active growing season (spring through fall), trimming your trees can leave them more vulnerable to disease and less likely to thrive. During the winter months, when trees are dormant, trimming them will cause less stress and leave them ready to grow again in the spring.

  4. What is the average cost to cut a tree down?

Answer: Tree removal costs between $200 and $2,000 per tree. Establishing an average cost can be difficult because each tree will be assessed and priced based on factors like height, trunk diameter, and accessibility. In general, smaller trees cost less to remove than larger trees, as do trees that are more accessible.

  5. How much does it cost to service a tree?

Answer: The cost to service a tree is typically between $430 and $1,320. The cost to service a tree depends on several factors, including what exactly you’d like done, the tree’s height, its health, the location of the tree, and local labor costs. The national average cost for tree services is $865. Tree trimming isn’t necessary for all trees but can improve their health and longevity by encouraging new growth.

  6. What is the difference between tree trimming and pruning?

Answer: While tree trimming and tree pruning might appear similar to the untrained eye, they serve different purposes. Tree pruning is used to thin a tree by removing unnecessary or burdensome branches. Tree trimming promotes healthy growth by trimming but not removing branches.
