"Top-Notch tree service has really lived up to its name every time I've used them. They've trimmed trees for me as well as taking out trees that unfortunately had to go. Their people are extremely skilled at what they do and have taken on Jobe requiring a huge crane to complete. I've literally never been concerned about any aspect of what they advised needing to be done."

"Hernandez tree care service was great. Easy to communicate with during estimate process and very helpful in evaluting tree removal and trimming of others. Went above and beyond to cleanup yard from limbs and even removed the fallen leaves we had not cleaned up yet. Also acquired part & repaired a flower bed sprinkler line that incidentally got broken in the neighbor's yard. Will definitely use their services again. Appreciate their business integrity and pride in there work."

"I hired this Professional tree removal service, "Frontier Forestry" and I am extremely happy with the work. Everything was done efficiently and very safely. Safety was Paramount! I had 2 mature cottonwood trees cut down and I couldn't be happier with the excellent customer service. Hunter, the owner, was happy to come to Laramie, from Cheyenne. I was quickly and professionally given an estimate, and very soon thereafter, the trees were down, safely! I would highly recommend, Hunter, and his business, "Frontier Forestry" to anyone who needs or wants this service! Again, I am EXTREMELY HAPPY! The price was very REASONABLE! 😊 Paul Irish ☘️ Laramie, Wyoming"

And knowing that the crew working on my property We're military veterans couldn't have made me happier about my choice in the contractor that I chose. And did I mention that the owner himself met with me to give me the bid price which I can say was awesome and very affordable compared to other contractors that I tried to use."

"AP recently trimmed and shaped my trees. I live in the Historic Baker Neighborhood and my trees are very mature. 3 Ash and 3 Honeylocust. The trees were healthy and growing each year, but they had dead branches throughout and needed shaping. Branches that were growing towards the roof and power lines needed to be removed. AP coordinated with the electric company to remove branches near the power lines. Their crew and equipment were topnotch. After giving us a free estimate for the work to be completed, I had the opportunity to talk to Paul, the father of this family business, and verbally talk about the job. He consulted with me on a couple of issues so we could make sure I was in agreement with his plan. I really appreciated his effort as I LOVE my trees. As I watched the crew work as a single team throughout the day, I was so impressed. It was especially difficult to manage the work when cars were parked on the street and I didnâ t know the owner. Without hesitation, they managed the precision work without a single problem. The clean up crew was excellent. Keeping up with the work throughout the entire day, they hauled away all the debris which I can tell you was a huge amount. They kept sidewalks and the yard clean and swept. In addition, my neighbor had one tree that she wanted to trim and they managed that job right after mine. Saving the best for last, AP has very fair pricing. I was 100% satisfied and my trees are ready to grow and thrive for many years to come. This company offers many varied services so check them out. They are professionals at the highest level of skill and experience. They care about their costumersâ satisfaction and their work reflects their high standards. So thankful for everything they did to help AP recently trimmed and shaped my trees. I live in the Historic Baker Neighborhood and my trees are very mature. 3 Ash and 3 Honeylocust. Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Yes, pruning makes trees stronger because it fosters proper growth, weight distribution, and balance of the crown. By increasing the structural integrity of the tree through pruning, it’s less likely to experience disease, pests, broken limbs, and storm damage. Pruning the right branches and limbs is key to improving a tree’s strength and balance.

The best tool to cut trees is a chain saw. You can adjust your chain saw to the correct size based on the size of the branches, offering you the fastest and cleanest cut for medium- to large-sized trees. Depending on the type of chainsaw you use, you can cut through larger trees than you would with a more manual tool like an ax.

If executed correctly your tree should survive after being transplanted to a new spot. However, effective transplanting requires six months, careful root pruning, safe transport to the new location, and replanting in prime soil conditions. You’ll also need an appropriately sized root ball for a complete tree transplant. A good rule of thumb is that, for every inch in diameter, your tree’s root ball needs to be around 11 inches. So a tree with a diameter of six inches needs a root ball of approximately 66 inches.

It can take anywhere from one month to a couple of years for tree roots to grow back in sewer lines. Tree roots can cause extreme havoc on your sewer lines, potentially cracking them and causing untreated wastewater to make its way into the groundwater. Have a landscaping pro remove trees and roots before installing your system, or call a pro to do it retroactively as soon as you can.

It depends. Smaller, younger trees take longer to mature, but they're more resilient, their roots don't get as damaged during transplanting, and they recover faster. Plus, they're much more affordable to plant, and it's possible to DIY the planting.

On the other hand, mature trees produce fruit faster and provide more shade and privacy immediately. Ideally, a small or medium tree is the better choice if you can wait a few years for it to mature. But if you need immediate maturity, a larger tree is the only option.
