"I'd give zero stars if I could. Called to get a drip fixed and was told it'd be about a week out, which we decided we could live with. Since this is an active drip, we've been managing by using a bucket and turning the main water valve off when not needing to use water. ON THE DAY OF OUR SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT, they called and said unfortunately another job was running over and they needed to reschedule our service. I figured it'd be the next day or at most 2 days... Nope, they told me it'd be 10 more days before I could be fit in due to their other commercial jobs that they can't change. Had I known I'd be cancelled on day of I could have had a half dozen other plumbers come out. If they can't reliably serve residential customers, then they should be honest or don't schedule them. If you're looking for residential work, DON'T TRUST the scheduling department of this place."

"Just received a call back from Stramowski heating, threatening to post pictures of the house my son, daughter in law and grandchildren live in (my property), saying they will blackmail (my perception and opinion) me by posting pictures of the black mold on the wall, the garbage ( stored items) on the floor, and that the tech didn't feel safe servicing the house . THERE IS NO BLACK MOLD! THERE IS NO GARBAGE, JUST STORED PERSONAL ITEMS! WHAT IS A TECH DOING, TAKING PICTURES OF A PRIVATE PROPERTY ANYWAY ?! HE/SHE DID NOT HAVE PERMISSION TO DO SO ! Had a blower motor fail, and scheduled a late afternoon service call. The tech came out and diagnosed that same failed motor. He/she didn't have one for my old furnace, but said it would get looked into, and they'd call back in the morning. The next morning, I got a call saying the tech would not come out to the house, because the part wasn't available and the condition of the house ?! YOU MEAN ALL THE ITEMS MY TENNANTS STORED NEAR THE FURNACE ?! OR, THE GRASS THAT WAS A LITTLE LONG, THAT MY SON COULDN'T GET TO BECAUSE HE WAS WORKING TO FEED HIS FAMILY ?! Unbelievable ! I took the day off of work, googled the motor, and bought an identical replacement, off the shelf, at Farm and Fleet . The part (blower motor) is readily available almost anywhere. Had it replaced in about 2 hours, and I'm not a HVAC tech. I would NEVER consider using Stramowski heating again, ever, if they were the last hvac company around. The only thing good about this experience is they refunded the charge for the $229 ( yes, $229, just to come out after 5 ) service call ."
