Called Lou Fennig in January about a broken pipe in heating system (It was temporarily patched). It was right before the polar vortex set in. He suggested we wait till it warmed up because he needed to shut off the boiler. When we hit a warm streak he called us and set up a time to come. He arrived on time and replaced the broken pipe. He tracked down all the bleeder valves that were hidden behind walls and dropped ceiling and replace old leaky ones. He drained the system and made sure it was in working order.

Perfect. No problems.

Louie Fennig is an EXCELLENT plumber who also works on heating and cooling.   I hired Louie Fennig to replace a drain pipe in my late dad's basement in 2013 and again to replace our own home's water heater in 2015.  I HIGHLY recommend Louie Fennig Plumbing Heating and Cooling to ANYONE needing these services.  He called me back that same day (I left a voice message at 6pm and he called me after his last job at 8:30pm). He arrived at 7:40am the next morning to take a look at the project (he had an already-scheduled job elsewhere) and returned after that job to replace our storm drain pipe.  I will ALWAYS call Louie Fennig for any of our future needs.  Extremely knowledgeable, helpful, courteous, respectful, reasonably priced, and cleans up the area afterward.  What more could you ask for?  :)

It went very well. As I mentioned above, he extended the pipes in a way that was more work and more difficult for him without any extra charge but the result was very pleasing to me. He cleaned up the area and removed all that needed to be removed.

Louie was on time, very friendly, and completed the service neatly and without any issues. He also volunteered to move our washer and dryer from our first floor laundry down to the basement. Parts were ordered. He came promptly after parts arrived. Made the replacement. One problem still remained. He came back a 2nd time at no charge and fixed the remaining problem. Very professional and easy to work with.

Excellent! Two weeks before my furnace had to be replaced my water heater had water leaking from the bottom. With both of these major appliances needing replacement I have seen Louie at his best service. I called when I came home from work and I went downstairs to do my laundry and I walked into water running from the bottom of the water heater. I called that night and the next day Louie was out installing a new water heater. Then two weeks later right before Christmas my furnace was not working and again I called and the next day a new furnace was installed. Two days later I woke up to a cold house, thinking it was the furnace not working, I called again and Louie came out to find it was my gas meter on the outside of my house not working. He called later in the day to check to make sure that everything was working properly. Excellent service!

The city had turned our water off for about 6 hours for hydrant repairs, and when it finally came back on, and I turned my faucents on, there was apparently so much dirt and rust in the water that it clogged my bathroom faucets and toilet intakes, so they flushed but wouldn't fill with water. I called a couple of different plumbers and got lucky enough to finally find Louie Fennig of Fennig Plumbing and Heating! They received my call late afternoon, and he made a point of coming over to fix these problems THAT DAY. He arrived right when he said he would, and did a fabulous job. He explained everything to me, and gave me some advice for the future. His prices are VERY reasonable, and it's so comforting that he, himself, does the work! It's soooo nice to finally have a plumber that I can count on to do excellent work with fair prices. He is the best!! I am recommending Louie to all of my friends!

Over the past few years, Louie had graciously given us much of his time over the phone and in person answering our myriad questions and offering suggestions to our concerns. He has always advocated the use of high quality products, and his knowledge, skills, experience, and integrity have ensured his high quality workmanship. He referred us to a very good supply house from which to pick materials. We were impressed with Louie's skillful scribing of the counter to the non-straight bathroom wall, and appreciated his efficient execution of the work. He left all work areas in a cleaned up state. Later on, when we began to refill the cabinet under the replaced sink, we detected a very small leak, which we reported to Fennig plumbing. Louie arrived at our house the next day, and quickly fixed the minor issue. His responsiveness has always been consistently excellent. Louie and his wife, Mary, run the business from their home, which minimizes the high overhead one would assuredly pay for plumbing companies that have outside corporate offices and shops. Fennig Plumbing and Heating appears to offer very fair pricing, and it follows the respect and concern both Louie and Mary show their customers. I recommend any reader giving them a whirl.

Louie has done all my plumbing since I asked the electricians, doing a job at my house, who they would recommend. Without a second of hesitation, they said Louie Fennig. He has done plumbing and also serviced my furnace and air conditioning. Louie is always on time, does excellent work and is always cheery. His prices are very fair and I trust him completely.

Louie was on time to the minute. He did both installations perfectly and cleaned up. I thought his price was more than fair and I trust him, which is very important to me. I will definitely hire him again not only for plumbing, but also for furnace replacement and repair, air conditioning and water softener needs. Louie is very cheery and it was a pleasure to have him in my home.

Louie was recommended to me by a friend, who is very picky about contractors. Louie did the work himself. He cleans up after himself and is a quick worker. I will use him again and recommend him to anyone. He is prompt, professional and fair. His estimate was the same as the price I paid. He did all the work himself and he cleaned up when he was done. I would recommend him to anyone.

Project went well. Enjoy dealing with Louie. He installed a new furnace in our house a few years prior.

He came and did what he had to, no more, no less. I don't like when they keep asking if you need more and he did not do this. He did not overcharge and I was satisfied.

They were on time, on budget, and great subcontractors. I love the new look. We had a 1959 kitchen with bronze built-in appliances. Cabinets go all the way up and they removed the soffits and fluorescent lights. Hi Mac counter tops, an island with seating for five. I love it.

Finding a hydronics master isn't easy to do, but we needed one and found Louie Fennig, on Angie's List. We needed radiators move and removed to make way for the new kitchen, and make heating more efficient throughout the house. We were so impressed with his work ethic, efficiency, knowledge and mastery of radiator heating in our old house, that we hired him to complete our entire new kitchen plumbing needs. He's such a hard worker - he's a great guy, and he does it all. We were expecting to have to hire someone else to do the venthood, but Louie did that too. Could not be happier. We love Louie!!!
