".So so so happy with Revved Up Tree Service. Highly recommend! We have a tree that is right in between and has been shading our house, cottage, fence, and backyard for over 20 years. Last month we noticed something going on with it. They came out and let us know that the tree was suffering from a red maple fungus, it was very severe and not going to get better. They came back, took the tree down for us, and thank goodness they did. The tree was rotting all the way through and all the way to the roots. They took the entire tree down without it touching any of the close obstacles, hauled everything away, cleaned the entire area better than it was prior, and now you can't even tell there was a tree there. So professional and amazing to work with!"

"I REALLY APPRECIATED the efficient and friendly work on a pretty warm August day!! The crew did an excellent job of safely removing the Arborvitae at the edge of my home, grinding down the stump and doing a perfect debris cleanup. I also think your price is fair. I'd be happy to recommend your company to anyone."

"I appreciate their recommending native trees and shrubs when I ask for suggestions, and when one tree died, they replaced it when the weather permitted. They answer questions, and at times have said that a suggested (by me) trimming was not necessary, saving me some money. They're not cheap, but I find them to be well worth the price for maintenance as well as new plantings."

Arborists questions, answered by experts

Professional tree care in Madison can significantly enhance your home’s curb appeal and market value. Healthy, well-maintained trees attract buyers and can make your property stand out. Removing hazardous or diseased trees improves safety, while thoughtful tree placement can boost energy efficiency. Investing in regular tree trimming and care helps ensure your landscape remains a valuable asset in Madison’s competitive real estate market.

Helpful?

Homeowners in Madison may face extra costs for tree removal permits, especially for large or protected trees. Working near power lines or in tight spaces can require specialized equipment, increasing expenses. Additional fees often arise for stump grinding, hauling debris, or soil remediation if clay is compacted. Treating trees for emerald ash borer or accessing backyards in older neighborhoods can also add to the overall cost.

Helpful?

In Madison, plan tree service projects to avoid oak wilt season and respect local bird nesting periods. Focus on native tree species for better resilience against pests and weather. Prepare trees for winter storms with proactive pruning. Be mindful of city regulations regarding tree preservation, especially in historic districts. Choosing local tree care professionals familiar with Madison’s climate and soil conditions can ensure the best results for your property.

Helpful?

In Madison, tree care is a year-round commitment. Spring is ideal for tree trimming to remove winter damage and check for pests, while summer requires monitoring for emerald ash borer and consistent watering. Fall is best for structural pruning and preparing trees for cold weather. Pay special attention to ash and oak trees, as they’re vulnerable to local pests and diseases common in WI.

Helpful?

In Madison, tree removal for a single tree usually takes two to six hours, while larger or more complex tree care projects may extend to one or two days. Tree trimming or pruning typically requires two to four hours per tree. After severe storms, cleanup and restoration can take up to three days. Weather conditions and scheduling availability may also influence the project timeline.
