Emailed Hamms Arbor Care when I observed lots of caterpillars. Within two hours I received a reply and was told someone would be out the following day. Learned these pests are future gypsy moths and are a serious threat. My trees were treated immediately after the inspection that day. I was lucky as the time for treating is coming to a close. Already the caterpillars have markedly diminished. Hamms is a wonderful company. Responsive, knowledgeable and reliable.

Hamm's Arbor Care is knowledgeable and experienced in identifying, treating and preventing problems that cause trees/shrubs to die. We have used this company for several years and they have saved two large old Oak trees from dying of Oak wilt. They have also treated our white Birch tree that has allowed it to survive past the normal lifespan of this species. When trimming workers remove cut branches and upon completion/departure they leave our yard clean of any debris and in good condition.

I appreciate their recommending native trees and shrubs when I ask for suggestions, and when one tree died, they replaced it when the weather permitted. They answer questions, and at times have said that a suggested (by me) trimming was not necessary, saving me some money. They're not cheap, but I find them to be well worth the price for maintenance as well as new plantings.

We were so impressed by the quality of professionalism, from the gal answering the phone, to Kevin, to the "tree guys" felling the trees exactly in the space we requested. All were very helpful and courteous. Kevin's summation on our troublesome huge pine root heaving up our blacktop was about what we expected, but he went into detail and gave some good advice to help the problem. Great job!!!

We contacted six tree removal companies. Not because we wanted toâ the scenarios, approaches and bids varied by 500%. Hamms was straight up and snuck us in weeks after accepted bid because we had a dangerous situation in our backyard, their app payment process is no fuss and all the people at Hammâ s were great!
