"2 men showed up on time the first day, but the job dragged into a second day. Then only 1 guy was here. The work looks great, but since there was only 1 guy here my wife and I wound up helping him move around some furniture...as opposed to having a crew of 2 here to move it themselves (a service that is included in their price and in the contract). Our installer was an independent contractor, so he has no real affiliation with 651 Carpets other than a check. But he worked hard and the carpet looks good."

He took the time to bevel and edge on one of my marble outlet covers that I'd likely not noticed, but totally appreciate the extra touch. "They poured a poly....something coating over our concrete basement floor. The concrete was old and uneven so we didn't expect or receive a perfectly smooth finish. They did do some grinding where they were able. Very personable, able to come in a quick time frame. Good pricing. Not the greatest attention to detail - the coating didn't into all the corners, there were some bubbles and rings left, and some splashes up onto walls. But overall we were satisfied and have enjoyed the finished floor."

The removal of exiting tub/shower and installation of new shower was completed in one day. Shower looks great. Everyone involved was extremely friendly. "Prefacing this review with the fact that I'm a bit of a perfectionist, I have to say that I am very satisfied with the quality of the work and the finished product.  The concrete bar top gets a ton of compliments and I love the look and sheen of the finished product.  The backsplash tilework was difficult, as we used some very small tiles that had different finishes (glass, shells, stainless, etc...) and it turned out perfect.  Of course the painting that went along with all of this was well done, crisp edges and Jeremia was great about cleanup during and after the job was complete.
I should add to this review that I had hired him a few years prior to handle some slate tile work in my finished basement along with some stone facing on my fireplace.  He had done such a meticulous job that I thought he deserved a shot at this project.  He was priced competitively and did a great job again.  I definitely recommend The Concrete Moon to others looking for a creative solution to sinks/countertops (concrete!) as well as a high quality job with stone and/or tile.
