"Kurt from KJM Plumbing installed 4 faucets and a sink for us. He was very careful and did a great job. Kurt is one of the best communicators I have run into regarding assessing and scheduling a home improvement project. His text messages kept me constantly updated on the project and the schedule. He stopped by our house to inspect the project site and give us advice on the best size for the sink. He arrived at our house as scheduled to perform the work. He cleaned up after completing the project. He was very pleasant and helpful. I would certainly call upon KJM Plumbing for my next plumbing job."

"Scott was prompt and installed two new faucets in our home and repaired leaky tub faucet in a timely matter. I had questions about the type and kind of faucets, pros and cons, and he did not offer much advice, despite my questions. Good clean up."

Sewer Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Roto-Rooter does not charge by the hour, so the quote you get after your in-person consultation should cover the whole project. This includes the time it takes a technician to get to your house and the time it takes to complete the job. For context, a plumber will charge anywhere from $45 to $200 per hour, but you may also pay a service fee or flat fee.

Even with a high-resolution camera, what you're looking at on the screen may not be recognizable to the untrained eye. Your plumber should be willing to walk you through the video and explain what they found. With high-res images, bright lighting, and self-leveling technology, you should get clear, steady views of the pipes that make up your plumbing system.

No, you should not see water in a sewer cleanout. If you do, it could indicate that you have a block or leak in your main sewer line—which can cause sewage to back up inside your home and potentially flood your yard. Your best bet is to call a local sewer cleaner if you notice any water or sewage around your cleanout.

A sewer cleanout typically looks like a white or gray PVC pipe with a removable cap. It's often located either in your yard or basement, depending on your home's plumbing configuration. The cleanout pipe is designed to provide easy access to your sewer system for maintenance and inspections. It may be flush with the ground or slightly elevated, making it distinguishable from other pipes. When you remove the cap, you can access the sewer line directly or determine its direction, which can be helpful when you need to locate your sewer line from your house to the street.

Some of the most common plumbing problems in mobile homes are frozen pipes, leaking pipes, clogged drains, and low pressure. Since the pipes in a mobile home aren’t as insulated as those in a standard build, they’re more susceptible to fluctuating temperatures and damage.
