The shed was pretty big and had strong bones (despite some exterior deterioration), and it was awkwardly-placed behind a tree, so they had to deal with it by hand -- a Bobcat wouldn't fit. As a bonus, they managed to extract a clothesline pole from my yard that was embedded in a heavy, deeply-planted two-foot-tall concrete plug. They were careful to refill the hole so that nobody would sprain an ankle! I was super-happy with how well everything went, and I'm so glad to have the shed and pole gone

Brad was great at both listening and advising. I'd hire him for any professional landscaping we might want done in the future

Took a little time to get it scheduled but once we did, they were done in 3 days. They worked cooperatively with city inspector and did a super job with cleanup - left nothing behind. They worked well in a tight space and tricky access - their experience in pool removal was evident. They were not the lowest bid, but they were well below the highest and were more inclusive than the lowest bidder. Felt the extra I spent to have them add top soil and remove my old equipment was worth every penny

- Korf Enterprises LLCDave was easy to get in contact with and he initially came out to take a look at what we wanted to get rid of. He said it would be no problem and we got an estimate right away. He also took a look at our drainage situation and gave us a bit of advise. Scheduling the work took a bit of back and forth. This was during a wet spring when there was a lot of jobs to do and not enough clear days. But we did get the call a day in advance and we were able to prepare. The work took maybe a little over an hour and it was well done. Dave was careful with the yard and the fence and very skilled with the skid loader. He helped load up the bricks, fence posts, and logs.All said and done, we got rid of everything we wanted to clear out of our yard and it was a great price

"This work is exceptionally done, and they did it fast. I have no complaints about the work whatsoever. I do have complaints about the staff that was on our site. I also had several post-installation questions that went unanswered, and resorted to Google to determine the answers. Disclaimer: I've sent these concerns to the owner privately and they haven't been addressed in the month since I sent them.
<br /> The owner, Dennis Krizan, is great. He's personable and clearly knows what he's doing. I think he prefers phone calls to email, but will answer email no problem.
<br /> We had an estimate done and it looked good so we went ahead. We were able to do the project a bit earlier than anticipated owing to Krizan's schedule, so we had the team come over at 7am on a Thursday. At 6:45 that day, I heard loud cursing between two men on the street outside of our house, and looked out to see a young guy with a flatbed trailer on his truck yelling at one of my neighbors down the street.
<br /> The rest of the crew arrived, along with Dennis, and he made sure to cover any last minute details. They got out the Bobcat and started to remove the asphalt, at which point I left for work. Upon returning home, we had a new driveway! Then we talked to our next-door neighbor, who relayed the following:
<br /> - they walked back and forth through her front and back gardens without asking
<br /> - used her garden hose without asking permission
<br /> - they went into the neighbor's yard on the other side of her house to wash off equipment on the lawn
<br /> She also said she didn't feel comfortable repeating some of the things she overheard them say. I wasn't there, nor was my husband, but we passed this feedback along to Dennis, as well as some questions about the driveway. These questions were never answered, nor was the behavior of the staff acknowledged in any way.
<br /> I want to reiterate that the work they did is top-notch. They came back the next day to cut joints in the work, and we let it cure for two weeks before driving on it (thanks for the info, Google). It's smooth, has no cracks yet, and is well-graded to shunt water away from the house. I just wish our complaints about the staff had been at least acknowledged by the owner.

"I'm very happy with the way these repairs turned out. John can be a airy at times, and he's not the best at the formal office side of his business such as writing up the job quote yet. But I have found John Selinger to be very conscientious of his work. He can be quite creative as well. He asks questions of the projects to get a good feel of what your expectations are. Offers good suggestions of how he can possible make better. I can tell as I've worked with John on this and another project. John puts a great deal pride into his work. He knows he's signing his signature to it and he has a personal stake in the project. He's asks questions because he wants to do it right, so he can best meet your expectations. John knows the value of a happy returning customer. Seagull Enterprize has done 2 projects for me to date. I'm going to write another review for the other project for him. I fully intend to use his services again in the near future for a small project and then again in the spring for possible a couple of other paving projects if I can find the cash. I've also found his pricing pretty comparable to his peers.
