"I hired the company primarily to move some large pieces into a smaller apartment. I was mainly concerned about the couch fitting. I sent them many pictures to review. They also had the option of visiting the site beforehand to make sure they could do the job. They accepted the job and said they could get the couch into the apartment. They failed to accomplish what they were hired to do and kept the whole fee anyway. $725 for 3 workers charging $85/worker/hour. The movers spent around an hour moving in smaller pieces and the rest of the time preparing and trying to get the couch moved into the space. They finally gave up but charged me the full fee even though they failed at the primary purpose they were hired. I asked for a 50% refund which was a deal since the least amount of time was spent moving smaller pieces. It was a fairly new really nice brush leather couch which we also could have sold if we had gotten the correct advice that the couch could not fit up the stairwell into the apartment. We could not even get the nonprofits to come and get the couch. So we had to take it to the dump. They refused to give any refund and denied that they had said they could get the job done."

"I cannot say enough great things about All Service Moving—and ESPECIALLY Rico and Reyes, who were absolute lifesavers for my last-minute move. After another moving company bailed on me the day before my scheduled move, All Service swooped in and saved the day. Rico and Reyes showed up EARLY, upbeat, and ready to tackle the challenge—even with super heavy furniture that usually requires a 4-person crew. Somehow, the two of them handled everything like pros without a single scratch or ding—on the furniture or either home. What really stood out was how personable, kind, and thoughtful they were. They moved quickly and efficiently, knowing I was paying by the hour, but never once sacrificed care or quality. They were kind to my mom (who was helping me out), and so sweet to my two dogs too. If you’re planning a move, ask for Rico and Reyes by name. They went above and beyond, and I want their team to know what a fantastic job they did. They deserve every bit of recognition. 100% recommend."

"The 2 people who actually showed up were professional, although they arrived very late, which I attribute to three poor management. I was quoted 3 guys for 8 hours, and only 2 showed up. They attempted to overcharge me the original quote. Long story short, Tower contracted a local company and did a poor job of handing over the job."

"In spite of numerous negative reviews about Move Quick, Inc., I opted to hire this company for my move from West Virginia to Los Angeles. I spoke to Phillip, the manager/owner, who convinced me that the posted complaints had been resolved and were exaggerations. However, I, too, was subjected to an exaggerated low bid in order to snag my business. I, too, experience problems with the pick up and the delivery dates. The movers were a day late in arriving, then quoted me a 67% increase in price, from $3,100 to $5,200. BUT I was stuck. The company already had my deposit money. Also, I was charged for one flight of stairs and an exaggerated inaccurate measurement of my front door to the truck. I had been told there was no fee for one flight. I had provided exact measurements for the items in my two rooms of furniture. True, I had 51 boxes instead of 40 but that did not warrant such an increase in price, 67% almost $2,000. Delivery was also problematic. I had told Move Quick, Inc. that I would be at my new home 25 days after the pick up, October 30, 2019. That should have been more than enough time for any truck to drive cross country. They made me wait until December 4, 2020, a total of 25 days to drive 2,400 miles. I made the drive solo in 5 days. Communication with the company once they have your money is near to impossible. It took threats and 6 days for Philip to respond. He then provided an insignificant $75 discount. My recommendation: go with a larger company than can provide an accurate estimate and deliver within a reasonable time. Also, use a company that uses the industry standard of moving cost based on the weight of your items. Don’t let Phillip tell you his method of charging based on volume is better. No one else does this, for a reason. Other estimates I had received were in the $3,700 range.I should have Booked Elsewhere!”"

"Received quote and paid $2429.90 deposit. 1 week before scheduled pickup, they called and re-assessed the number of items in the house and bumped up the estimate by $4149. I cancelled the service because I had donated 25% of my house to charity and there were less items to move. However, they did not return my deposit of $2429.90 because they said that I did not cancel in time. They have pulled the bait and switch routine on others (B&B complaints). I would not advise anyone to use them for your moving services !!"

"Overall, I had a great experience with Straightline and would highly recommend them. Unlike other local movers, the estimate was done by the owner himself, in person. Other local movers asked you to take a full online inventory yourself or do it with a rep by a video call. Straightline was nearly $1,000 less than the next highest estimate - and it was spot on with no extra charges. Due to health reasons, I used packers and they took great care of my possessions (Sorry, don’t remember names.) My movers - Tony, Nate, and Ty - were friendly, polite, and professional. They took great care of all of my things, wrapping my furniture carefully. They also prepped the locations so they would not damage anything. They went above and beyond to help me in my move and did everything they could to make things easier for me. Thanks to all at Straightline!"

"We cannot say enough good things about our experience! Ramona and Terry were able to accomodate our complicated move which included multiple steps. Mike and Chris were an amazing team! They were careful and mindful of our items and flooring. They were willing to move a couple of things not on the original inventory, and were very skilled at moving items that we weren't quite sure would fit in a doorway and/or stairway. They were really great with our move on Saturday, July 23 and we are already having them come out again to move our piano next week. (New flooring wasn't done before the big move like we had hoped. Mike and Chris placed the piano in the middle of the room as instructed. Flooring is being finished today, so the piano can finally be moved to its rightful place. Ramona was able to get us on the schedule a few days from now. We had other options closer to us here in Fort Atkinson but it was a no-brainer to contact Above Average again!)"
