Ramar Moving Systems

Ramar and Michelle helped organize our move from Maryland to Wisconsin with United Van Lines. Michelle was very easy to contact to answer our questions and to track the progress of the transport. The packing of the van and unpacking went well with almost nothing damaged in shipment. The United Van Lines driver, Gary, was terrific. Moving is a lot of work but if we had to do it again, we would use the same company.

Ramar is extremely dependable. Though I have used them primarily for commercial deliveries, I wouldn't hesitate to use them for household or office moves as well. I trust their ability to get the job done right.

It was a local move and it went very well. They were very professional and did a very good job. We used them to pack up as well because we hadn't packed ourselves. The crew was very friendly and worked very hard. I really had no complaints with their service at all. They also came very close to what the estimate cost was which was important to me. One of the common things that people have problem with moving companies is when they get their services done it's a lot more expensive than what they are told but they were pretty consistent and came in within a couple of hundred dollars. Their price was very competitive.

I was extremely dissappointed. The total cost exceeded the quoted price by a substantial amount. They charged by the hour and the workers were very slow. They took frequent breaks. After several hours of watching them move slowly and sit around, I started to move the items from the truck into the new house myself, so I could reduce the number of hours they charged me! I complained to the company after the fact but they refused to make any adjustment.
By comparison, on a similar move with similar items a few years prior, i used a mover who charegd by the item. it cost about half as much as these guys. I learned my lesson!

Very smooth move

This company was wonderful, from the sales associate to the office manager to the driver. They provided accurate and consitent quality of services. They were on time and move everything beyond our satisfaction.
