Dan spent his years as a young boy in St. Paul, Minnesota watching his grandfather build cabinets, when quality was of the essence and work was done by hand. Dan then became a cabinetmaker in his father’s cabinet shop, starting out as a teenager sanding doors and sweeping floors, to becoming lead foreman of the shop. It didn’t take long for people to realize Dan was not an average cabinetmaker.
