"Called them to install a small vanity that I had purchased to replace a similer sized vanity in that spot. Connections were there but he had to leave and get another tail piece. Doors on vanity were not adjusted and handle on vanity was not installed. I was charged $550.76 for this work which took less than 2 hours (and included estimates for other projects, sic.) I had also wanted him to switch out older fixtures on a tub shower. He looked at it briefly and suggested I replace the tub ?. I said ok (I'm open to suggestions and money is not an issue) but then he looks and says he can't do it but an outfit like Tundraland might. ???? Duh? The plumber that I had in for recommendations before didn't see any problem switching out the faucet....and he didn't suggest pulling the tub and he DEFINITELY did not suggest using another company. I had also wanted information on converting a third bedroom into a bathroom. He didnt volunteer the info so as he was going out the door I asked him....too expensive, he says. Lol. He lost that remodel immediately. Thennnnnn....i received unsolicited text messages Saturday, SUNDAY, Tuesday, Wednesday ,and Friday wanting to know if I wanted to proceed. Huh? Proceed with what? I was still waiting for the RECEIPT! Requested the receipt, received the recept only to have the wrong service address on it. I texted back that despite using their services on and off over the past 20 years I would be using a different provider and to not contact me agaIn!!! Within 2 hours Hockers was calling me. ? Sooo we started out with 5 stars and subtracted one for their $250 per hour charge. Lost another star when he didn't install faucet on tub and suggested I contact another provider. Lost another star when he started walking out the door before he had given me BASIC info about converting a third bedroom into a second bath. Lost another star for 5 unsolicited texts before sending a receipt. Lost another star for calling me when I very clearly asked him not to contact me again. We're out of stars? That's too bad because I had more to say. I own and manage multi-family properties and can use a good plumbing provider. Hockers does not meet my needs and I won't be using them."

Watters Plumbing
Watters Plumbing
Complete plumbing solutions..Serving the Fox Valley and surrounding areas for over 50 years!
"The plumber came when he said he would and did a good job fixing my toilet and faucet. The cost of the toilet repair was reasonable, but I was surprised how much the faucet leak cost. It was $170 to replace two valve cartridges, which took about 15 minutes total. I thought that was high. But at least the faucet is fixed now and the job got done promptly."

Treat your water from the source, as it enters your home, so whether you are drinking it, cooking with it or bathing in it, your water is pure.
"The process was quick and easy. I just provided a water sample. It was determined that I had high levels of chlorine in our drinking water. I was able to solve my water problems with only one filter. Why did I wait years to have this done? Now I can be confident that our water is safe. Highly recommended."

FAQs for water softener service projects in Chilton, WI
The license requirements for water softener installation depend on your location. Some municipalities require that the installer hold a plumbing license, some require a permit and an inspection, but no license for the installer, and some require a permit and a license for the installer. Regardless of the local laws in your area, it’s always a good idea to hire a licensed plumber or installer. These pros will install your system properly and have the experience to size the system appropriately. Use Angi’s state licensing tool to check your installer’s license status.
Water softeners are worth the money if you live in an area with hard water. Hard water is safe to drink, but it poses serious threats to your plumbing system. The minerals in hard water will gradually build up on the inside walls of your pipes, reducing water flow to your fixtures. The minerals can also gradually corrode your plumbing system, reduce its lifespan, and increase the risk of leaks. Hard water also makes soap and detergent less effective. Water softener systems can solve all these issues, making them a great investment.
It’s possible to install a water softener yourself, but we don’t recommend it. Water softeners require working with copper pipes and electrical wiring, neither are suitable tasks for most DIYers. Plus, working with water and electricity together is dangerous and could pose a risk to your safety. Water softeners also need to be calibrated so that they don’t make your water too soft, as soft water poses just as many risks as hard water. Overall, it’s well worth hiring a local water softener installer to place your water softener system.
The cost to install a water softener system is $1,500 on average, ranging between $200 and $6,000. The labor for water softener work typically costs between $150 and $1,000, so you can add that to your equipment costs to get an accurate total. Your price will depend on many factors, including the following:
System capacity
Home size
Water hardness levels
Type of water softener
Presence of electricity in the installation area
Local permit costs
Your water softener size is based on your total household water consumption. In most cases, you can assume the average household member will use around 75 gallons per day. Multiply that by the number of people in your home, then multiply by 10 (for the typical grains per gallon). You’ll get a number in grains that should help roughly size your water softener. However, it’s best to hire a professional to install your system and use more exact numbers, like your exact average water consumption per day and starting water hardness.
