The plumber came when he said he would and did a good job fixing my toilet and faucet. The cost of the toilet repair was reasonable, but I was surprised how much the faucet leak cost. It was $170 to replace two valve cartridges, which took about 15 minutes total. I thought that was high. But at least the faucet is fixed now and the job got done promptly.

Quality work done by the carpenters and plumbers from Watters and their associate electricians at Bells Electric. The new cabinets, mirrors, flooring, tub, shower, sinks. and toilets look beautiful and work well. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The workmanship was excellent. The employees were punctual and diligent. They worked together well when needed. We were very satisfied and would use Watters Plumbing again in the future.

I called on a Saturday because my wife insisted it be repaired ASAP. So what is a man to do? Call a plumber after trying to fix himself. I called Watters Plumbing for the job. They stated the emergency charge for a weekend. I said I would pay anything to get the wife off my back. They stated a man will be there within the hour. Sure enough a serviceman named Mr. T Laguna arrived. He informed me of the charges after viewing what had to be done. He went right to work and completed the job. We, especially the wife is so thrilled to have the job completed. She states that we will call them again. Thank-you Mr. Laguna for a job well done.

Phil, the plumber sent from Watters, arrived on time, provided us with several options and price points, clearly explained the process and answered our questions. He installed our new hot water heater quicker than we expected, cleaned up after himself and hauled our old hot water heater away. He was friendly, professional and competent. We felt completely at ease with our decision, the product and the services provided.

The plumber was here just two hours. However, first he tried to upsell us a more expensive model, which we rejected. Then, when we were billed, instead of a straightforward hourly rate for the actual labor, we were instead charged the difference between what that water heater cost them from the manufacturer and what they sell it for today at retail. What??? This seems very sneaky to me, and I can't believe that even today the hourly rate for plumbers is $220 per hour! Despite arguing about this with the manager over the next several days, no adjustment was ever made to the charge. We were offered warranty coverage, because warranty replacements don't come with new warranties (apparently standard procedure), but that does us no good since we will soon be moving to a different house.

Scam of charging for estimate when Office said it would be FREE. Even going to bill collection agency when not paid. Guy came to check if I had hot water, I did. Told him I wanted an estimate to replace if possible with 40 gallon water heater. Went in crawl space. Said "of course" give me a look like what a stupid question. Ask him what he thought wetness was coming from...he offered to replace water valve. I said no, I think just from dampness. (which it was) He asked How I like to pay...Told him office said it was free. He said I don't think so...In 3 days I got got bill... called a number of times and they refused to Honor there word...After 3 months I got a debt collision agent calling me.

Rep was professional. Explained what needed to be done and approximate cost before starting work. I was shown what was done and rep explained differences between what I had and new plumbing installed.

Went very well...no problems

He was very professional and neat. He was very friendly and very willing to save us money on simple repairs that we could do ourselves. He had to leave for a while to put his dog down, so our hearts went out to him when he came back. You could tell that he was very sad, but finished the work quickly. I would definately us him and his company again. A pleasure to have in our home.

They were fine and very fast. I called them in the morning and they came out that day. Their work was good. I would use them again in the future.

We were very satisfied with them. We wanted to do some of the work ourselves and they were very accommodating and letting us get some of our own stuff. They worked with us really well in that regard. Angie was one the ladies in their showroom and she was awesome in treating our kids while we were looking and picking out pictures and stuff like that. She was just very professional and right to the point. It was just about being quick and not being rushed. She did a really, really good job. The plumbing seems to be working good and we are pretty happy with it all.

They did a really good job and their prices were a little better than another company we have used.

Our kitchen sink suddenly became clogged and no amount of plunging or snaking it out fixed anything. I joined Angie's List because I thought it would be useful in helping me find a dependable and reasonable plummer. I called Watters and the customer service person I talked to was very credible in explaining how their service works and when I could expect someone out to my home. When I told her we get home after 5:00, she said, "Oh, honey, you don't want to pay after hour costs." We worked it out so my adult daughter could be at our house when the plummer was here. As stated earlier, we were very pleased with our experience and will definitely call Watters again in the event we need a plummer again.

They were very nice, clean, efficient, and punctual. They did a great job.

They were fantastic. I priced around to get an idea of what it was going to cost and they were in the ballpark with everybody else. I knew I was going to go with them because I've had them do work at my house before but I just wanted to check prices. I would definitely use them again.

Positives: 1) They were able to send out someone right away to give us a free estimate for everything I requested. 2) the estimate to fix the sub pump and drainage problems seemed more than fair to us (quote was $150 dollars) 3) the service center manager tried to do her best giving estimates over the phone without having the plumbers feedback Neutral: 1) The plumber said he'd have an estimate drawn up later that afternoon. When I called to find out why we didn't have it yet, the service lady told me he was fully booked that day and the entire next day so there was no way we could have expected to get a response that soon. Negatives: 1) I feel the water heater replacement estimate came back higher than it should have (a new one costs $350ish at Menards versus their $750 quote.... a $400 dollar instillation and disposal fee seems high to me) 2) In the end, we only got half of the estimate for the work the current homeowners needed to do before we moved in... the service center lady asked that I call her back to get the rest of the estimate for our kitchen remodel and other fixes when we're ready to have the work done at the end of this month (which wasn't helpful because it leaves us not knowing how much room we need to leave in the budget). *** So we're still on the fence about whether or not I'll be calling them to do our remodel and other upgrades. I'm not the type of person that shops around for the absolute best deal; I'd rather pay a little more to a company that leaves me with peace of mind and trust in their work versus go with the guy who quotes the cheapest price. But I wasn't entirely left feeling at peace or feeling trustful in this company either. But another part of me feels like maybe I'm wrong because I wasn't given the chance to speak to the plumber himself after the fact (I only heard his opinion second hand from the lady who runs the service department)..... that and I usually feel that unless there was a major screw up (which there wasn't in this case) that everyone deserves a second chance and the opportunity to make things right.

I am extemely pleased and will call them again, as needs arise.

Watters Pluming came in ,on time, to repair but could not so we scheduled a later time to replace the defective valve. The next day they returned on time and had to cut a hole in the closet wall to replace the valve. The replacement was done on time and everything was cleaned up. Great job by Watters Plumbing.

They arrived on time and were professional. The reason I gave them a "B" is because they were not willing to coordinate with one of the other kitchen contractors I was working with. Eventually they did, but there was a bit of an attitude about it.

Great. The company arrived on time fixed the problem and repaired the cover so it will not be a problem in the future.

When my water heater went out, I was able to call Watters Plumbing and get an new one scheduled for installation the very same day. Watters was very professional in setting up the installation and the technician took some time to answer my questions. The only problem I experienced was with the water heater itself. The day after the installation, I had no hot water again. Watters was sure to send a technician over ASAP, who quickly repaired the problem with a reset. However, the next day...no hot water. I called Watters again and had another technician sent over. This time he took the time to rip into the components and found a few crushed wires in the controller, which was causing it to malfunction. Even though the problem was not their fault, Watters was professional and prompt in responding to my calls and repaired the unit with no additional costs. I did not enjoy spending $1200 on a new water heater with power blower(the reason for the higher cost)but the experience with Watters made me at least content knowing that I got a good product and installation.

We had a huge leak in a pipe located in the wall between our kitchen and hallway that we needed fixed. We called several different plumbers for estimates (and had an absolutely horrible experience with a different one, Sammons - don't use them!). I called Watters Plumbing in the afternoon and they had a guy at our house at 8 am the next morning (MUCH faster than anyone else). He gave us an exact estimate, which was the same as the final price - no "unexpected" add-ons. They were able to do the work the next morning. The two guys that came were extremely professional, they showed up when they were scheduled to (!!!), told us exactly what they were doing, and fixed the big leak as well as the two smaller problems. Aside from fixing the plumbing problem, they were also really careful not to damage anything, for example, they thought to take down the tures on the other side of the wall they were working on so that they wouldn't fall when they took out the pipe. (Compare this to Sammons, who blithely knocked out the drywall on both sides of the pipe without even thinking to check what was on the other side!) I wouldn't even have thought of taking the pictures down, but the Watters guys were just really careful and respectful of us & our house, which I really appreciated. I'm probably extra appreciative after the bad experience we had before, but regardless, I was impressed. I will definitely be calling them for any future plumbing issues!
