"Audit went great, he showed me where there was problems with my house, said walls were fine, but air sealing was needed in the attic.  Was told I would get a report with pictures and quote by no later than end of the week (1-2 days).
Got quote 8 days later, did not include photos as promised, included a quote for items I was told I didn't need, such as the wall insulation, and blown in insulation which is not needed.  I requested a more specific quote (just the air sealing we discussed) and the pictures that were promised, 11 days later and still no response.
I don't think I should have to pester and beg to get a proper quote.  If they do not want my business, that is fine, I got the information I needed, and find someone else to complete the work.
I was impressed at first with the original home visit, but very disappointed with the follow-up

"They did a nice job overall. They had to remove siding outside and blow in the insulation. They also did have to insulate one wall on the inside of the house as it was bricked outside. They drilled holes in the walls to blow in the insulation. They then filled the holes and have them ready for me to prime and paint. They moved the furniture when needed.

The windows did need caulking. The first window they used white caulk instead of clear. They did kinda a messy job , but then completed the job with clear caulk. It was completed nicely."

"He believes that frost during the winter was cause of the issue, and recommends that I simply insulate more where the moisture appeared (since there seems to be a lot of cold air coming in where we opened up the ceiling).  He believes that the roof is in good shape, and there's no cause for doing any expensive roof repairs at this time. 
I appreciate the simple recommendation to start rather than suggesting expensive repairs.  I will definitely contact him if there does seem to be an actual roof leak.

"The detail they took was amazing and very professional.  We worked primarily with Art Meyer who was very helpful in recommendations, placement and approach.  I would highly recommend the solar tubes as it brightens up two stairways so much better.  They have never leaked and only needed one minor adjustment a few month after.  They responded very quickly to make the adjustment.  If you are thinking solar tubes, go with the larger size if you can.

"I know of no other contractor who has total customer satisfaction as his top priority like Mr. Flanagan does. He is absolutely the best.
My basement sustained ankle-deep water as the result of an outdoor basement stairwell drain that violently backed up because its circa-1951 drain line led to the street storm sewer (by design). That sewer was overcome with water during a storm in the summer of 2010 that featured a tornado in my western-suburbs area. Soon after pumping the water out of my basement with a mobile pump, the mess prompted me to (once again*) call Mr. Flanagan (*His crawlspace crew had done a beautiful job finishing my dirt-floor crawlspace with a concrete floor and wall insulation a couple of years earlier).
After the basement waterproofing project described in this review was complete, however, I was disappointed with the workmanship: The concrete work looked less-than-professional (out-of-flush with sump flange and the stairwell drain, plus way too many swirl marks and splattering) in the stairwell and basement's appearance areas. In short, it just didn't look like his business's flawless concrete job that was done in my crawlspace just years earlier.
Mr. Flanagan agreed. With no questions asked, he immediately had a different crew come to my home, tear out all of the previously laid concrete and drain lines and replace it with the workmanship that he would expect his crews to use in their own homes. The re-do of the project at least had met my high expectations for its cosmetics. And, of course, I hoped it was a sufficient waterproofing solution for my basement.
Fast forward just a few short years. Affter having perhaps sustaining that 100-year event with the Chicago-area rain storm of April 17-18, 2012, while my neighbors are pumping water out of their basements, mine remains bone dry. Thank you Mr. Flanagan and Crawlspace / Basement Waterproofing Solutions for a job (design and installation) well done. Your basement waterproofing solution indeed deserves an A+.

"Master Cat came out the day the water heater leaked and gave me an assessment of the damage and what had to be done to correct the damage.  While inspecting the damage, the owner noticed that I had some mold developing in the closet.  The team arrived later that day (or maybe the next morning - I am not sure)  with heavy duty blowers, pulled up the wet carpet, removed the damaged wood trim from the bedroom, closet, and furnace closet and installed three (two or three) heavy duty fans to dry up the carpet, floors, and walls.  They sprayed the mold with some liquid and made sure that the area was exposed so that it could dry.  They left the fans for a day and a half until all the moisture was gone and then replaced the carpeting and wood trim and removed the fans. 
I was thrilled with their performance.  They responded rapidly to my call for help and came out as soon as they could.  They were courteous and professional and certainly knew what they were doing.  I would hire them again in a minute but hope that I won't have to use them in the near future.  They do a great job!
