Thermal Comfort, Inc. is one of the most experienced spray foam contractors in all of SE Wisconsin...installing spray foam since 2001. We are locally owned and operated, not a franchise of a large conglomerate. We take time to listen to our customers' needs to provide the best solutions possible. We take a building science or "whole house" approach to insulating for maximizing energy efficiency and minimizing moisture problems. Our installers have received professional training and attend seminars to further their education on how to properly insulate and air seal a home. Dason S. (owner) also holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and regularly attends building science seminars to continue his education on the latest technologies available in the industry. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE SPECIALIZE IN SPRAY FOAM, WHICH IS GENERALLY USED IN REMODELS, NEW CONSTRUCTION OR OTHER UNINSULATED AND OPEN CAVITIES. WE DO NOT INSULATE ATTICS IN EXISTING HOMES THAT NEED MORE INSULATION ADDED TO WHAT IS CURRENTLY IN PLACE.

We specialize in a complete line of spray foam insulation solutions for your home or business. We install Icynene open cell and closed cell spray foam insulation. Because it insulates and air seals in one step, it is the ideal insulation solution for new constructions, remodels, additions, basement walls, basement rim joists, crawlspaces, cantilever floors, and vaulted or flat roofs. In addition, we also install blown cellulose insulation into residential and commercial attics.

We have been in a 2 year long build with many facets. I reached out to Dason at the very beginning about the project and his professional insight was spot on. I had very specific engineering requirements for our build to achieve a very high performance, Thermal comfort gave us what I required. I had a previous Spray foam contractor from a prior build and received 3 additional bids for this 2020 project. I choose Thermal comfort from the 4 companies for several reasons and I am very pleased that I did. Closed cell IMO is the only way to go, that said the install is critical and the site crew was fantastic. George, was the lead and listened to my install concerns and did an excellent job. Rich and Walt were also on hand and also did great. They accommodated us the best possible in the timing of our project. They were thorough, conscientious and and their site prep and clean up was excellent. We have future projects and they will be our insulation contractor from now on.

Thermal Comfort exceeded my expectations for scheduling my project, and the quality of their work is excellent. They did a great job of protecting everything prior to application, and the cleanup was done well. As a retired architect and professional engineer, I expect and watch for quality, and was very pleased with this company. I recommend this company to anyone requiring a foam insulation project of fine quality and a good value.

They damaged my property on two occasions and did not make any attempt to correct the damages. They claimed that they did not know to not spray in a fan (that had new electric visible in the wall) and blamed us for their mistakes. The fan motor was filled with insulation and they told us it was our fault for not taping the fan off. We were never told to tape off the fan or we would have. They also backed their huge truck into my retaining wall and broke the capstone. They said we have no proof that it was them, even though they were the only truck in the driveway. I suggest looking for another company if you live in a nice house and do not want it destroyed/damaged.

"Ms. [Member Name Removed] has completely misrepresented the facts about what happened. We performed work at her house in September of 2017. There was a very old exhaust fan inside the wall cavity that would be common practice to insulate over. If not insulated, the area would be subject to condensation and mold. Our workers were never told by Ms. [Member Name Removed] not to foam over the fan. They foamed over it (as they should have) and then she called afterwards and said she didn't want it foamed, so I credited her bill for removal of the foam. In January of 2019, she contacted us again for another insulation project at her home. I met with her and she never once during our 15 minute meeting, mentioned the exhaust fan being a problem. In fact, she hired us again and we did more insulation work at her home in February 2019. I sent her an invoice for the work approximately two weeks later. She did not pay it or give reason. I sent her the invoice again in May and she did not pay it or give reason. I sent her a 3rd copy of the invoice in June. She finally responded that she wasn't paying because she claimed we backed into her retaining wall....4 MONTHS after we did the work. Never once in that time period from February until June did she ever mention to anyone at our company that she thought we had damaged her wall. In a subsequent phone conversation, she had the audacity to accuse our workers of breaking the wall and then taking the broken piece of wall with them. The workers at her house have over 30 years of combined experience in the trade and would never even think of doing such a thing. Meanwhile, she was at the property the entire time our workers were there, but it took her 4 months to come to the conclusion that we somehow broke her wall. Unfortunately, we had to take Ms. [Member Name Removed] to court and the court sided with our company in full as Ms. [Member Name Removed] was ordered to pay the bill in full plus court costs. I would discourage any contractors from doing work at Ms. [Member Name Removed]'s house. She refuses to pay her bill for work performed."

I've used Thermal Comfort a few times in the past to insulate entire homes, but this time I had a small job. Although this was a small job, they didn't treat it as one. From the start, I called Dason and he came to my property right away to look at the scope of work. I told him I'd like to get the work done ASAP. Although they were busy he squeezed me in, I was on his schedule within a week. The two techs, Randy and Walt were professional and got the job done in a timely manner. I will continue to use Thermal Comfort for my spray foam needs.

Thermal Comfort was the only firm that took the time to understand my goals and budget. One made a verbal quote over the phone, the second only spent 5 minutes. Then Dason owner of Thermal Comfort spent a good 20 minutes looking over the project and provide a menu of of options so I could pick and choose the services that met my needs. The installers came on time and interacted with me, confirmed any special issues I had. One of them even pointed out how some of the fiberglass in the small areas was orientated wrong so it would not restrict the heat loss. They made sure everything was protected with plastic and sweep up and ready for drywall when they left.

The men where very punctual on arriving and courteous, I have dogs and they made sure that the yard was secured and that they would let me know if they needed something and would wait while I got them put away. They did the job in less than half the time I was told that it would take. Cleaned up after themselves and went the extra step of covering things that I could not get out of the attic and put things away that I had forgotten about . GREAT JOB!!!

Dason was wonderful to work worth as were the guys that did the spraying on the day of service. The 3 workers showed up on time, were professional, respectful and explained everything to me. Thermal Comfort was punctual and professional at every point in the project. Dason answered all of my many questions so that I was able to really understand that we were making the best decision in choosing the open cell spray foam insulation for our finished attic project. The work men were polite and professional and cleaned up after themselves. We are completely happy with the insulation. We could immediately feel the difference in warmth in all parts of the house, particularly the back hall which is unheated and used to be freezing. Our first energy bill since insulating also shows a reduction.

Thermal Comfort did a FANTASTIC job on the attic. When Dason came to look at the space for an estimate he was very thorough and explained the process to me and the different options I had as far as the amount of insulation to add and the option to add the vapor barrier. The guys arrived right on time and walked through the attic space with me. They took care to cover anything that I didn't want the insulation to land on. They also had me come up to the attic a couple of times throughout the process to show me how things were going which I appreciated, and left things very tidy in the attic when they were finished with the job. The finished product looks great and they were able to access and spray every nook and cranny of the attic - including all the spaces which were not easy to get to. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again and will be recommending Thermal Comfort to anyone I know that needs new insulation.

They did an excellent job of preparing by covering in plastic all of the areas that could be affected by overspray. They had excellent attention to detail and after insulating the areas they did a very good job of cleaning up.
