"Nate allowed me to order my bathtub myself, which was nice. Lowe's failing to deliver when promised, was not. This delayed the start, and although it did take longer than I expected, everything came out great. They did not charge me extra after the water damage was exposed, which was a relief. One of the other estimates I got from a general contractor was for 3x as much, AND they planned to add on after the wall was opened. The bathroom specialists wanted 150% of what we paid, and I think we ended up with better results."

Not only did she and her team help me with painting, power washing and other small jobs that I needed done for the sale of my home, but also helped me with things like hanging large mirrors, electric fireplace's, pictures and other things that my husband would have normally done for us in my new home. She assured me that no job was too small. And she was right! Patrick is a delight to work with. Very pleasant and a hard worker. FYI if you put on some classic rock he might even sing a tune for you! "I am a repeat customer, so I knew the carpenter, Joe, coming in. I started by using their design contractor. I gave her the colors and ideas (beach theme, ceramic wood-look floor tiles), and she pulled the rest together. Invaluable because I can't trust my own taste. They removed a square shower in the corner and a set of shelves next to it, and glassed in that end of the room for a full shower. We put tile down along the whole room, with a recessed shower pan, and a linear drain against the wall. Joe built-in medicine cabinets, and trim all around the room, per my design pictures. The subs included a glass door guy, the plumber, the tiler, painter, and the countertop slab tiler. We also had some work done in our hallway. They removed the single boob light from the middle, and installed two recessed lights on either end, along with putting two switch boxes on either end of the hallway. Joe built a floor to ceiling cabinet in a 13” dead space at the end of the hallway, which included a laundry hamper on tracks, cubbies, and shelves. And then on a whim, I asked to have our old hallway linen cupboard doors replaced to match the new ones. We had two leaks during and after, but one reason I would use them again, is how they handled both times. One was a leak from the plug on the toilet supply. We found it on a Saturday morning, and I ended up waking up our carpenter with my text. He came out and figured it out and fixed it by 1. The other one was after everything was done and cleaned up, and we had paid for everything. The basement bathroom ceiling, fan, and wall below the master was wet one day, and we realized a joint in the pipe from the master toilet to the stack was slowly dripping between the two rooms. I texted Joe again, and he referred me to our GC, who came out with a plumber and fixed it. They had to make a hole in the downstairs drywall, so he has been coming back regularly to put three layers of mud on the new drywall. I was so sure that they would regretfully find that it wasn't their fault and we would have to deal with the cost and bother of finding a plumber and carpenter. Start to finish, it took about four months, but three weeks of that was the initial tile order, and another three for an incorrect tile order."

"Are, project manager for Finecraft, promised a 6 day finish time but took over 2 ½ weeks. Our oak floor was damaged when masking tape holding paper walkway was removed taking Swedish finish with it. We have stripes from front door to back door and have to have the entire floor screened and recoated costing us $2,000. Workers never communicated with us about problems that arose. They appear not to have been given appropriate equipment to cut the large porcelain tiles. They made repeated measuring/cutting errors so took several days to cut the 15 tile sections needed. The cut edges are ragged and in some cases, have chipped corners and were set unevenly. No one communicated that they were going to use an edge trim product other than porcelain for the edges nor that we could choose the color of that product. Someone just chose white rather than match the tile and it looks terrible around the edge of the shower and pony wall and particularly framing the shampoo niche. The shower floor tile was not cleaned of the excess grout and is dulled and coarse. The pieced-in floor tile between the toilet and new pony wall was done poorly with uneven spacing and will require removal and resetting to be remedied. We were very unhappy with the result and with the attitude taken by Ari the project manager minimizing the damage to the oak floor and the quality of the work. He lamented that the extra cost of plumbing work had reduced Finecraft s profit on the job even though his big sales pitch was that no change order costs would be charged if unexpected conditions were encountered. He overpromised on this project, did not provide the skilled workmen necessary and did not communicate sufficiently with us or with his workers as the job proceeded. In summary: this company did not do a quality job, failed to discuss options and problems as they arose, damaged an unrelated part of our house and was incapable of fixing its errors. We settled for $1000 off a total of $16000. That was not adequate compensation but we did not want this company working in our house any more."

"Kevin worked with us on our home remodeling project in 2023/24. We had a dated 1979 property that needed totally redesigning to eliminate some pretty awful existing features. Kevin came up with a number of possible solutions for the design. We finally settled on a scheme that we were happy with. Kevin was very tolerant when we then changed our minds requiring him to redo some of the drawings. Kevin has also been available to offer help and advice during the construction process."

"Ilya and team were great! Communication was timely and constant. Ilya is a hard hard worker and made our master bathroom amazing. He took out our tub and single shower and installed 2 shower head bathroom with heated flooring, floating vanity, and another light above the shower. He is respectful of our home and a dog person for sure! He left everything nice and neat and went through thoroughly to ensure he did not leave any dust or debris past his working hours. Would recommend to friends and family! Easy, much cheaper than our other quotes and he did it all within our agreed upon timeline! Please use GASHIN and support local!"
