"These guys are fantastic. We met with several arborists, and Brenda & Jose impressed us from the moment we met them. One tree was a problematic situation because it was our neighbor's tree that we needed to have the branches removed from our property, and our neighbor was not cooperating. Originally we planned to have the tree cut with a hedge trimer right up the property line. Jose cared enough and hand-cut each branch individually. This tree is at least 75' tall. The other two trees we in our back yard and again, the team at Altaview performed to perfection."

"We had Chandlers remove one very complicated cottonwood tree and one more that was not as technically challenging.

The difficult tree was on my neighbors property but we were having it removed.  We had their approval to bring the chipper machine in on their property due to access issues on our side. In the end, this caused a little bit of rutting in their yard, due to the heaviness of the chipper machine.  Afterwards, Chandlers brought in a truckload of topsoil and leveled out the property to the satisfaction of our neighbor. To clarify, the area of rutting was not lawn per se, but woodsy moss covered ground. In my opinion, this complication was unavoidable and handled by the company.
    
For the difficult tree, there was a crew of 5 that worked very well together.  First the tree was de-limbed and each branch had to be tied off, swung around, and lowered to the ground near the base of the tree., This was due to all the obstacles that could not be damaged on both properties.  After the tree was topped, the trunk was cut into 16 inch lengths and each piece was pushed off to land near the base.  The cleanup was very good.  They rolled all of the rounds along the fence line as we requested.  All limbs were chipped up and they even raked up our lawn so it looked like they were not even there.  Very impressive job!
 
The other tree was cut down by a 6th person/tree climber. He was instructed to make sure he did not damage any of the surrounding sequoia and cedar trees.  He miscalculated on the angle and dropped the tree such that it did damage three trees.  The owner, Brian Chandler had been deeply involved in the "challenging" tree and left the other tree to the sixth crew member.  After discussing the unintentional damage with the second tree, Brian brought in another person who is working towards being a certified arborist, to evaluate the damage.  He cleaned up the trees as best he could and ensured us they would grow strong. (There are 20 -25 feet tall, so they are better able to overcome the broken limbs and such. 

Overall, they did a good job. I now know how challenging it can be to remove trees in difficult situations. I will likely use them in the future."

"The arborist assessed the health of 2 tall trees in our small backyard, and one had to come out. They arranged for the power line to be detached and moved away from the tree. The business owner and crew came within a week, with all the right equipment. They got right to it, and felled the 105 ft, diseased, Spruce, right next to our neighbor's fence without any problems. The power company wouldn't reattach the power unless we also removed the tall Cedar next to it. They came back a couple of days later, and took care of the double trunk, 105 ft tree. Complete stump grinding followed. The owner and crew were extremely courteous, worked very safely, and swiftly. The price was very reasonable. We were more than pleased with the service."
