"This company is fantastic! 1. Out of the 5 companies I was considering for insulation replacement (yes 5), their quote was the only one that was itemized and understandable. You knew each task you were paying for as well as what the workers were promising to deliver, which is extremely important when dealing with contractors. I found this out having met with 20+ over the last month. 2. They had the most reasonable price, and Rory in particular worked to volunteer his expertise on what our situation needed/did not need with an honesty that is hard to come by because it did not come off as self-serving or trying to take advantage of our lack of expertise. 3. They were reliable, on time, and very communicative every step of the way. They touched base frequently about our complicated situation, they were available for price discussions, and they were direct in communicating arrival and finishing times. I was extremely impressed. 4. The individuals at this company went above and beyond the call of duty. Rory was a pleasure to deal with; he reminds me of the neighbor you want to have because he has great advice, good contacts if you need work outside his company, and reasonable suggestions for what you can do to fix things, and to boot he was extremely available. He even answered our many calls with random questions off-work hours AND he volunteered to come out himself again outside of work hours just to help figure out the steps to fixing our problem. Debbie was affable and an organized presence on the phone. The other staff we worked with- Santiago, Rafael, Luis, and Felix- were all extremely courteous and hardworking during the projects. 5. They worked to coordinate with other contractors without me having to micromanage anyone. I had a roofing company, arborist/tree service, and vent cleaners on site. They were able to navigate their own working space and work in tandem on the roof with the roofers to replace the insulation on the cathedral portion of the house when the underdeck was ripped off, as well as add baffles appropriately. 6. They brainstormed to fix problems we were having at extremely reasonable prices. Example: The attic portion of my home was missing half the ceiling (had to be removed because of extensive mold damage) and they helped me place drywall so we could replace the insulation on the timeline we initially agreed to. It saved my husband and me a lot of money and heartache. What more could you want from a company? The biggest impression I walked away with is that this company actually cares about your situation. My husband and I were purchasing a new home in need of a lot of repairs. We have a toddler and I am third-trimester pregnant. With the move, the unpleasant relationship we had with the previous owners of our home, the strain on our finances, and the overwhelming stress of finding new problems everywhere we looked, I can only say I am extremely grateful we went with Madrona Home Services. "Two problems: 1. I received a second reminder to provide my credit card # before work. I had already done this. I had to take extra time to call them and confirm they already had my #. 2. I paid an extra $370 for 10 mill ground vapor barrier versus the normal 6 mil. I asked the installers three times whether they had the necessary 10 mil and the answer was yes. I confronted them at the end by noting they had only boxes labelled 6mil. They then admitted the error and we agreed they would add another 6 mil layer. Very unsettling - unless I had inspected the boxes I would have paid this rather large extra amount. General: looks like bad coordination between office (billing) and installers (stocking the installation truck)."

"Side-Pro, what a class act! My husband and I discovered the company at the SEA Home show in Feb 2020. They had serval booths in the show and all representatives were friendly and knowledgeable. They shared information and answered questions, never did we feel pressured, plus they had a great magnet clip give away ?. After the show, I called the Side-Pro office to ask few questions. I was fortunate and was referred to Russ De Arment, the sales manager. Russ was able to answer my questions over the phone to my satisfaction and was even able to come out the same day to do a walk through and give an estimate. Russ truly presents himself as a contracting professional. He is honest and presents facts, not what you might want to hear to get your business. I had a siding question on my son’s new construction house and Russ even went to his house to look for me and wrote up a suggest list of repairs for my son. He did this kind gesture without being compensated. The installers were fantastic and treated my house like it was their own. They were respectful on my property and left it in better shape than when they arrived, this was especially important to the field supervisor Duane. As with any project, there are always follow up items. I found one small item and within a day of me notifying Russ, he sent Duane, another amazing team member, who not only took care of the punch list item, he even fixed something for me that wasn’t even siding related! Finally, the painting supervisor, Mo, this is sounding redundant, but another amazing Side-Pro team member. Once again, knowledgeable, reliable, and fun to work with. In SEA, rain is an outdoor painter’s worst enemy. Mo did a great job of communicating schedule changes immediately and always responded to my emails quickly. Like the siders, the painters were professional and did a great job. I have had my house painted three times in 20 years, and by far, this two-man crew was quick, efficient and did quality work. I have a 4500, three story house and they completed the work in less than 4 days. In summary, I got three bids, Side-Pro was the least expensive by a few hundred, but that is not why I went with them. It was their professionalism and responsiveness that helped make my decision to use them and I am so happy I did!"

They removed the old insulation, installed a solar attic vent, replaced the bathroom vent duct, and added new blown-in fiberglass insulation. They also installed radiant barrier on all the attic roof rafters. The work was completed professionally and thoroughly. I highly recommend them."

"I requested an inspection of our attic to assess what needed to be done to improve its condition. I thought it may need an upgrade. Other venders earlier had told me that they would recommend new and/or added insulation, air sealing, mold treatment, etc. to the tune of multiple thousands of dollars. Brennen from Attic Doctor was the one who did our inspection. He explained why our attic really did not need much work to make it good. Contrary to others, he said we didn't need to upgrade our insulation, but just rearrange the already-adequate batting to free up the soffit vents and cover gaps, along with doing my own air leaks sealing or hiring a handyman at a much lower cost. He said we had no mold, as was asserted by another vendor. Washington State does not oversee the insulation vendors well so many can throw out their shingle with minimum expertise (effective lobbyists in Olympia?). Brennen has a college degree in construction science and knows his stuff. He was also honest with me"
