"John Perry underbid all others... with no plan to do the work at all. He preys on Senior Citizens! He requires half down. Sets up a date to supposedly do the work....then never shows up. Doesn’t answer his phone....then goes off when confronted. This is the absolute worst business person...born and raised in our area...to do business with. Always Painting and Restoration was the name of his business 3 businesses ago!!! He just closes them and gets a new person to back him then rips off more citizens. Beware of Always Painting and Contracting....his most current business name. The WALabor and Industries site shows a woman in Centralia as owner.... but This piece of work is just trying to figure out ways to rip people off but cover his butt as a limited liability partner. BEWARE!!! Do not shop the harbor first with this rip off!!!"

However, they don’t give you extra storage space or potential living space like a crawl space or basement would, and they’re not ideal in colder areas where utility lines can freeze and frost heave can cause major damage.

Visible cracks, scaling, flaking, and uneven surfaces indicate a bad concrete job. Additional signs vary depending on the project. You may notice poor drainage or even exposed rebar. Quality issues result from using the wrong concrete, rushing the work, or inexperienced workers completing the job.

It can be safe to live in a house with minor foundation problems as long as the issues are checked and monitored by a professional. Minor cracks are rarely a cause for structural concerns, but signs of leaks, sinking, or bulging walls should be strongly scrutinized by a foundation specialist. Similarly, it's always smart to hire a professional when you're concerned about buying a house with foundation repairs.
