Very informative. Clear and concise. Gave us many options. Daniel is a wonderful and honest person and was so helpful with our questions. The crew lead by Anthony, with Jordan, Uriel, and Richard did professional work. The finished product is wonderful and can already feel the results in the house. Would 1000% recommend. Just keep in mind it is a very messy job. These guys do the best they can to keep it clean

Groundworks were contracted to encapsulate the crawl space, with a dehumidifier, intellijacks & sump pump. The inspector showed us pictures & videos of what the work would look like on completion, & explained how each solution would be installed. They tried to charge me more for vent covers until I showed them the contract covering this part. The foreman told me there was a reset button for the sump pump to be installed on an exterior wall, but they did not install it, instead said they would put in a service order. I haven’t heard anything about this issue yet. When they installed the moister barrier, they excluded the cement pads I was told it cost extra to have them covered. When I signed the contract, I was never told there would be extra charges for vent covers or cement pads to be covered. The contract I signed covered a complete encapsulation, but this is not what I got. This is a bait & switch. I would not recommend Groundworks.

Steve and the entire team were fantastic! Steve was very friendly, came out quickly, gave an informed assessment of our sagging front porch and turned around service within 1-2 weeks time. Marcos and Eduardo did the job and even went above and beyond helping us cut back some stucco for a full finish/framing. Couldn’t be happier

Daniel, the repair lead, was an artist/perfectionist, taking great care in his work, doing whatever was needed to ensure that we had a quality result. This really showed in his attention to how he filled and hid the crack repairs after the lift. A key factor in me choosing Matvey was their 'no overage' guarantee on lifting foam and they were subsequently true to their word when needing more product than initially estimated/bid.

We had a dip in our Family Room floor that had started soon after we moved into our brand new house many years ago. After contacting an independent Structural Engineer to learn that we had no major structural issue, we contacted Matvey for the actual fix. Gardner was the person that came out for the estimate and we found him professional, knowledgable and personable. The job expanded to another area of the house that we didn’t anticipate but it was an obvious problem after he pointed it out. They ended up putting several floor jack supports and three steel beams underneath floor joists to give them additional support. Contractors are super-busy around here but we got lucky and they started the work almost immediately. Their workers were clean and respectful. They laid down paper from the front door to the crawlspace entrance and cleaned up at the end of each day. Chris, the foreman, was also very pleasant and clearly communicated what they were doing and the “trade-offs” we needed to consider as they reinforced the subfloor. We needed to have them come out once after the initial job was done to adjust an area around a beam and they did so rather quickly. We also greatly appreciated Gardner’s extra effort to answer our questions after the work was done and to help facilitate the resolution of a couple of outstanding items. Matvey has a transferable warranty on their work which will help when we go to sell the house and made us feel we made the right decision in having them do the work.

We are happy with their work and service to repair a room with a sinking foundation. They installed push piers and smart jacks to stabilize our foundation. They were patient in explaining the process, their work was of good quality, and they finished within the stated time period.

Excellent.... Workmen showed up on time and worked in bad conditions (Rain). Always kept us advised on how the repair was going explaining the steps involved. Portions of the sidewalk settled so they came out within the week to make it right again. Highly Recommend

Estimate appointment booking was simple, rep arrived on time. Email communications afterward all promptly replied to. After some additional research as to the best approach to resolve our issue I scheduled the service. The crew arrived on time and everything went well, as far as I can tell. Obviously only time will tell whether the porch was actually stabilized (filled with poly level from below) but it seems like they did the job properly and the price was reasonable. I hope I don't need foundation repair in the future but if I did I would call Matvey.

Matvey showed up on time, efficiently set up and performed the work (it's pretty magical what they can do!) and cleaned up when done. We added a small amount of additional scope and they were extremely reasonable about pricing it and performing it on the spot. I would strongly recommend them over any grout injection solution. The holes for the polyfoam injection are small and easily covered up when the process is completed.

The crews were extremely professional and kept the work area clean and neat. After they were all done, you could hardly tell they were there at all. Everything was put back as it was, and they even added beauty bark to the work area.

The crew arrived on time if not early. Very curtious and professional individuals. When elevating the slab closest to the home the adjacent slab was wedged against its edge. They tried lifting it with a hydraulic jack and chain set up which cracked the slab and broke off pieces of the slabs edges. They had to comeback the following day to complete the job because they did not have a concrete saw. Raising large concrete slabs is not an exact science and **** happens sometimes. These two guys stayed in the fight until the slabs were raised and pretty level. They cleaned the area when they were done and had me inspect it before they left. I was not happy about the damage to the cement but these things happen and yes I would have them come back to do other work. The warranty is another big plus since another company did the same job 4 years ago with mud/clay with no warranty and no discount for repeat work..

The sales representative, Boston, arrived right on time, was very thorough at explaining how the product works, including showing a short video. He struck me as very honest and not pushy. He explained the differences of Matvey's pricing and warranty coverage versus that of a competitor I told him I would be getting a bid from. He offered three different work scope options to choose (from just the basic lift and level of our entryway and sidewalk, to some options for supporting and filling cracks in our driveway). Matvey's bid turned out to be lower than the competitor's bid and was backed by a much better warranty. The competitor's estimator/salesperson's visit was rushed by comparison, and he seemed doubtful about being able to provide as many inches of lift as I wanted. Matvey's communication (by email) to schedule the work, sign the contract and make payment was prompt and excellent. The three person crew arrived promptly at the scheduled time, was very polite, and listened to exactly what I wanted. They did an excellent job in a short amount of time (less than two hours) with little disruption to us, and cleaned up the area nicely. They were able to raise the sunken slab four inches and to make the level of our concrete sidewalk and entryway match up again, eliminating a trip hazard and improving the appearance.

It didn't go great. I had a section of my driveway and a stretch of sidewalk I wanted to have leveled. They cracked the driveway in half - not great. They crack a section of sidewalk in half - not great. They happened to spray foam over two sections of the house (and didn't clean it) - not great. I had to repaint sections of the house. In an attempt to level a section of sidewalk they leveled the section of driveway in front of the garage (which wasn't in scope) and created a drop off now between the garage and driveway - not great. They filled all the holes but didn't do anything to clean them so after it dried it look awful - not great. I called about all of this and have them repair it - which never happened. The worse part is the one section of driveway they raised - sunk in less than six months - not great. Overall the worst experience ever. I do not recommend them in any capacity. I would avoid them and find someone that will stand behind their work. Not great!

terribly, I was told they would raise the dip 3" by adding new posts and beams in basement; the work was attempted by non English speaking workers who stopped after raising 1/2" leaving large divots in basement floor. I complained and they sent out a different estimator who said the work couldn't be done unless the foundation was raised first; I was not appraised of that in the beginning. So I took it to the BBB, but I'm out of my deposit of $4000 with 6 in the way posts and, a damaged floor and the dining room dip. Since then other contractors have commented on Matveys poor reputation in the trade.

Matvey Foundation did a great job poly lifting my settled 20'x20' aggregate concrete cracked patio. There were various crack points and the team (headed by 'Daniel', assisted by sales rep 'Rob' and 2 other great technicians) did a fantastic job. They also poly-leveled my outdoor steps that had sunk 4 inches. They worked efficient and very clean. Ben Brandon (my original contact) came out the house to review and present an immediate estimate. Great job there too. No sales pressure and I scheduled it with Ben a few weeks later. Rose in the office always kept up good communications. Very satisfied and I would not hesitate to use them again. I feel like I've been scammed with Matvey, the original quote was around 27,000 to install a bunch of push piers around my house. The quote was first misleading making me think it was 20,000 because they made it seem like the geotech engineers were included, but they were not. Fine, that's my fault. The geotech engineers were easily 5,000 over what they said, and I was pressured into change orders that raised the cost by 8,000 otherwise the house would still have problems. The city permits were also more expensive than their estimate. Their tactic seems to be to get their foot in the door and then raise prices. The work itself was great, but misleading, I was told that they would level the basement floor where they would do the work and they did not do it to the extent of the drawing. The polylevel stuff they had added also did not apply to any of the stairwells and there was no good solution there. So I'll have to rebuild those stairs. Constant billing mistakes in their favor too. The workers themselves are great and professional, arrive on time and easy to work with. I think whoever is running the company is trying to milk customers to death with their sales people who push products all the time rather than solutions. I would highly suggest you seek others who won't rip you off.
