AC Custom Metal Work, LLC, has 17+ years of experience under the belt. We specialize in automated gates, new fabrication, upgrading, or replacing your old gate motor. We also are able to provide our customers with CNC plasma cutting. we can make functional or decorative pieces if you can imagine it then we can cut it. We specialize in supplying our customers with the leading brand of gate openers in the market. No job is too small or too big! WE ONLY WORK WITH METAL FENCES AND GATES, NOT WOOD!

"I hired AC Custom Metal Work (more than 8 years ago) to replace our old dilapidated automated vehicle gate with a new, architecturally forward, dependable automated vehicle gate. ACMW delivered a terrific 13’ automated vehicle gate that looks great and has been dependable since installation. But one morning, after a big windstorm, we came out to find that a weld had broken. The gate was inoperable. I called Jorgè and he was able to come out the same day. He fixed and serviced the gate while I wasn’t even there. He’s that dependable - he’s that trustworthy - I finally reconnected with him the next day to settle up. He came out and walked me through everything he had done, how the gate is fully functional, fully serviced and ready for service. We also discussed some improvement ideas I have. Jorgè is patient, gracious, thorough, professional and even generous. AC Custom Metal Work receives my highest recommendation. Honest, dependable, trustworthy. They’re my first call."

I am a general contractor specializing in decks, stairs, rails, arbors, gates, and fences; working with wood and synthetic products.

"After receiving estimates from four companies, we decided to work with Andy Marshall. He understood what we wanted and he said it would be no problem. His schedule is usually very full and he told us up front it would be a couple months before he could work on our job. Andy and his crew completed our job November 2020. They were always on time, respectful of the property, and completely kept me in the loop with communication. The front stairs look great and I would absolutely recommend Andy and would hire him again."

Super Service Award wining company on Angie's List. Archstone Masonry was founded by Jerrod Rhynalds in 2001, shortly after he took two first place victory’s in state and regional masonry contests. If you’re looking for a high quality masonry contractor, you’ve come to the right place. We at Archstone Masonry strive to be one of the best masonry contractors in the northwest. We employ some of the best stone and brick masons to make sure your project exceeds your expectations. We continue to be highly rated on Angie’s List since joining in 2011 and strive for customer satisfaction. Let us help you design/Install your next masonry project.

"Jerrod the owner of Archstone was emphatic to point out that he is one of the best if not the best and a very conscientious and honest man. He said the mortar on exterior house wall is very hard and can't be ground out. Per his expert advise the best things is pressure wash and scrape out loose and damaged mortar and use sponging technique to fill in cavities with type S mortar. I understood and agreed asking for care with pressure washer. Quote was $2922 before tax. He said the wall wouldn't look much better than it does now but he would get all the places having egregious deterioration and then seal. Two days work. Moving forward his team (him and a 18 year old nephew) came and went in less than 4 hours. Sealant remained to be done and I could see that cost was itemized at $400. I personally could do it in 1/2 hour so I asked him to scratch it from the price. He was very amenable to that. The issue arose when I was sealing I found and sent him photos of spots with severe erosion that were missed and should take about 1 hour to fix. Some on wall, one in bottom corner of house, one big seam in windowsill. I sent email and photos asking for him to return. He didn't reply. 1 week later I reached him by phone and he said he didn't get the email/or hadn't read it yet but he wasn't going to come back for 'pinholes' which I could do myself. First of all I could do everything myself but that's time that I paid him for. He is too busy to come. Photos are from the south wall as discussed."

"Confident after seeing many houses with Town & Country Fence sign installations, we have decided to have Town & Country Fence (Lynnwood) replace and install our fences in 2015. We signed up for fences with "24 inches Concrete and Pipe Base Posts", which comes with a 10 year warranty. Everything looked great in the beginning. However, within 2 years (2017), we noticed some of the posts twisted and cracked. Thankfully, Town & Country Lynnwood responded and repaired it accordingly. In 2019, we noticed 4 of the posts to be wobbly and bent/leaning from the fence line. We called and they sent their guy over to check it out. Out of the 4 wobbly posts, Town & Country decided to only fix & replace 1 (one) post ! When their crew came to fix that 1 (one) post, we all discovered: the pipe posts were installed on shallow 5 inches (versus 24 inches) concrete. Being that the concrete was 19 inches shorter or 79% off from specs, we felt shortchanged. We were confused why Town & Country Lynnwood would allow shabby workmanship and not redeem itself by repairing the remaining 3 wobbly posts. Early summer 2020, we decided to call Town & Country Lynnwood again to re-address this remaining matter. Their guy came today July 21 and took pictures of the other 3 wobbly and undersized fence posts (pictures attached showing 6- 7 1/2 inches of concrete base only instead of 24 inch specification) and cryptically said, "I'll show the pictures to the managers and the managers will call you. Maybe we will submit a bid to you". Learning about: posts resting on shallow concrete 79% below specifications, and defiant customer service that does not seem to listen even if the 10 year warranty is still valid... only sums up one word: FRUSTRATION. Of course, there's always hope for redemption. If they did, I will update on this matter again."

"Fantastic - Scott Taylor agreed to rebuild our large, old deck even though it was at our cabin out in the mountains. He then had many good ideas about how to redesign the original deck in ways that were more efficient and also looked better. He was very communicative and explained everything as we went along. He and his team worked day and night, even in the pouring rain and during the challenging time of the COVID-19 pandemic. I would definitely hire him again, he is so professional and also very personable."

Driveway Gates questions, answered by experts

There are a few possible issues that are causing your gate to sage. The hinges may be bent, or the screws holding the hinges to the post could fail—causing the gate to sag from one side to the other. The gate itself may also have come out of square due to failing supports, causing it to sag. On the other hand, it’s possible the gate isn’t the issue at all. The post holding the gate aloft may lean inward, causing the gate to sag.

Your gate should be 3/4 to an inch smaller than the opening. The opening size that you need for your gate can vary depending on your hinge type. You may also need to add reinforcing braces if the gap between your gate and the fence is not uniform from top to bottom.

This largely depends on the layout of your property and your preferred walking route to various entryways. Take your time figuring out the perfect spot for the gate to avoid difficulties later on. With all this said, the best place to put a gate is an area free from obstructions that offer the shortest route to your house.

Installing a gate on an existing fence or alongside a new fence is usually worthwhile, even though it can be expensive. Side gates give you easier access to your rear yard, making the space more usable. More importantly, they can help keep your children and pets safe in your yard without compromising accessibility. Security gates are particularly worthwhile, as they have the added bonus of protecting your home. In case that’s not enough upside, installing a fence with gates usually boosts your curb appeal and property value.

Yes, many providers offer reinforced steel, fire-rated, and electronic access doors for businesses.
