Confident after seeing many houses with Town & Country Fence sign installations, we have decided to have Town & Country Fence (Lynnwood) replace and install our fences in 2015. We signed up for fences with "24 inches Concrete and Pipe Base Posts", which comes with a 10 year warranty. Everything looked great in the beginning. However, within 2 years (2017), we noticed some of the posts twisted and cracked. Thankfully, Town & Country Lynnwood responded and repaired it accordingly. In 2019, we noticed 4 of the posts to be wobbly and bent/leaning from the fence line. We called and they sent their guy over to check it out. Out of the 4 wobbly posts, Town & Country decided to only fix & replace 1 (one) post ! When their crew came to fix that 1 (one) post, we all discovered: the pipe posts were installed on shallow 5 inches (versus 24 inches) concrete. Being that the concrete was 19 inches shorter or 79% off from specs, we felt shortchanged. We were confused why Town & Country Lynnwood would allow shabby workmanship and not redeem itself by repairing the remaining 3 wobbly posts. Early summer 2020, we decided to call Town & Country Lynnwood again to re-address this remaining matter. Their guy came today July 21 and took pictures of the other 3 wobbly and undersized fence posts (pictures attached showing 6- 7 1/2 inches of concrete base only instead of 24 inch specification) and cryptically said, "I'll show the pictures to the managers and the managers will call you. Maybe we will submit a bid to you". Learning about: posts resting on shallow concrete 79% below specifications, and defiant customer service that does not seem to listen even if the 10 year warranty is still valid... only sums up one word: FRUSTRATION. Of course, there's always hope for redemption. If they did, I will update on this matter again.

Well, but I had a couple of things that I had to bring up to the workmen, which they addressed. They seemed to work well, but I felt that they were "just doing their job," rather than giving me the feeling that they really wanted to please me...I am, after all, the guy paying them.

They broke many sprinkler spots when putting posts in. They knew they hit a couple because the said they had to be fixed right away to continue on. Found a couple more when sprinkler system was turned on. They broke an electrical wire also. There wasn't to much response from them when they were contacted after job was complete.

The experience was great and everyone was polite and easy to work with. The price was lower than other estimates and the quality is good. They were in and out efficiently they crew even was nice enough to do a small job for a neighbor that came over and asked.

I'd highly recommend Town & Country Fence. Their initial estimate is a little higher than other companies, but what pushed me over the edge is the fact that they pre-stain all the wood used to build the fence. When I calculated how much it would cost me to either stain it myself or have someone else come out and stain it post-install, I realized it was much cheaper to pay Town & Country to pre-stain it. Less work for me, and a much better-looking fence in the end!

My experience with Town & Country was excellent from start to finish. Only downside was they were pretty busy and couldn't start the work for about a month. The sales rep, Adam, was very professional and detailed. He listened to what I wanted and made it happen. The install was quick and efficient. The fence looks great and I couldn't be happier.

Job itself was performed very well. Communications with this company and attention to detail could have been better as the bid missed an important section of fencing. However, to their credit, Town & Country absorbed the additional cost.

I am very happy to have worked with Brian and his staff on this project. From start to finish they were punctual and very professional. The construction materials and quality of their work were top notch. There was one misunderstanding (on my part) about how the fence should follow the property line. There is a swale to the north side of our house that does not provide enough room for the fence to be properly installed along the property line. In determining how that should be handled, a misunderstanding arose with the result that the fence was placed on a vector between the eastern boundary and the beginning of the swale. This was not what I was expecting and I shared my concern with Brian when I brought my payment in. Brian scheduled a crew to come out and correct the line of the fence. The fence is done and looks great! Everyone at Town and Country acted in a courteous and thoroughly professional manner. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a quality job. They are terrific!

I've seen the Town and Country signs on fences all my life in this region, and when it was time to have a fence replaced I contacted three local companies. All were names I've heard of over the years. Gail in the office was quick to reply to web-form inquiries and e-mails. Town and Country had very competitive pricing and Joel, the estimator, seemed to really know his product. He gave me ideas and options that wouldn't break the budget, but educated me about what would be best for looks and function for my yard. If you are in a hurry and need a fence in the summer, Town and Country may not be a perfect match. I believe their pricing and their product quality make them in high demand, so if you're fence didn't actually fall down and you have several weeks (up to 10) to plan, give these guys a call and you won't be disappointed. We were given a 10 week estimate, and at about the 7 week point they reached out to schedule around week 9. This gave me time to plan, coordinate with neighbors, plan alternative doggie day care those days, and save up my pennies. They came exactly as scheduled, on time every day. They were professional and treated my plants and yard with care as if it were their own. They asked me when they had questions so there was no concern about getting a fence design I didn't expect. They made it easy to either have my neighbor who agreed to some of the cost pay them directly or pay me by providing them an itemized invoice. I would use Town and Country Fence again.

the fence is beautiful! Our upright posts are true 4x4's. Town and Country had no issue with splitting the bill between us and the neighbor and also added the gate cost in. They were professional and quick.

T&C did a great job on my fence. The only thing I would complain about is that it took forever to get the job started, since they're booked so long in advance. But that could be because they're so good.

No need to get other bids. Town and Country was the lowest price out of 4 and the job was excellent. Showed up on time, quality work, very, very good price. There is a reason they have building fences for so long.

This was a joint-fence job with the neighbors directly behind me. Was issued a quote and contacted by both my neighbors and eventually by Town & Country Fence with my portion. I received a phone call from one of their sales reps stating it they were likely starting in approximately 4 days. I asked him what my side of the fence would look like and he'd stated there would be an upper and lower horizontal They started on time and removed the previous fence. When we confirmed with the foreman that we'd like the horizontal board moved 1.5" higher than standard and the lower horizontal board lower, he confirmed verbally that it would be done and match the other two joining fence lines on the property. They completed the work in great time and left before my wife could return home to see that the boards did not line up with my existing fence line on the property. I called the owner and asked if there was anything they could do to make this whole since two people on his team confirmed the look with us and he went through a significant amount of fence jargon as to how we wanted a full panel and not estate, etc... I then explained to him that it never needed to match a full panel but just simply move the horizontal boards a few inches up and down and it would look much more in line with the rest of my property. Owner Brian stated that there was miscommunication and that they only had the number to my neighbor's home and not mine (see at the top of this post as to the salesperson calling me to confirm start date :) ). I would say the communication is indicative of a low-cost, volume leader in fence work. Follow-through with options, less about justification, or even simply an apology stating we should've been in better communication on what the fence will look like (I'm a software engineering manager, not a fence builder) would've called this complete. I'm just not a fan of poor communication and lack of ownership end to end. Overall, I give these guys a C because they were quick, crews were careful on our property line, and the price was somewhat reasonable. Would I use them for the 2000 feet of perimeter fence line for the neighborhood in which I'm a board member? Probably not, only because I don't have the time to keep following up and ensuring the service provider and I are on the same page. Hope this gives some insight in weighing your choices.
