"DO NOT USE: We were quoted $6K for a shower kit install. Upon completion of the work, it was immediately apparent that the installation was defective and did not meet acceptable industry standards. Specifically: No water membrane was installed behind the shower kit, rendering the installation non-compliant with waterproofing best practices. No caulking was applied to seal seams, leaving the installation vulnerable to water intrusion and damage. The walls and surrounding trim were not plumb, which made it impossible to install a functioning shower door. A McLendon's supervisor subsequently inspected the installation onsite and acknowledged the poor workmanship. We were informed that the matter would be addressed, but despite multiple follow-up phone calls, we received no further communication or resolution from McLendon's. Nevertheless, the remaining balance of $3,100 was charged to our account without our authorization or consent and without any resolution."

Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Just going in circles with them and FedEX. If they shipped after 14 days it would be 22 days from that point, 32 days from the date of order if they shipped it that day. He quoted me an initial price for the craw space job and committed to it despite the challenges he faced to get it done. I'd hire David again in the future for his professionalism, honesty and being a man of his word."

"Our heat pump was not working and the tech replaced the capacitor and 'soft kick start' which fixed the issue. I did not get any warranty info with my invoice, so I called the office to ask for it and was told they would get back to me. I also told her that I was hearing a new noise from the heat pump. When I had not heard a week later, I left a message. (New noise had stopped, but still they should have responded.) When I didn't hear from them a week after that, I reached someone in the office who told me that I would receive info in an email the next day or a phone call. Still haven't gotten anything and it's been 5 weeks. Three Strikes and You are Out Black Lion! Either the office workers or the management don't care!"
