"This company is fantastic! 1. Out of the 5 companies I was considering for insulation replacement (yes 5), their quote was the only one that was itemized and understandable. You knew each task you were paying for as well as what the workers were promising to deliver, which is extremely important when dealing with contractors. I found this out having met with 20+ over the last month. 2. They had the most reasonable price, and Rory in particular worked to volunteer his expertise on what our situation needed/did not need with an honesty that is hard to come by because it did not come off as self-serving or trying to take advantage of our lack of expertise. 3. They were reliable, on time, and very communicative every step of the way. They touched base frequently about our complicated situation, they were available for price discussions, and they were direct in communicating arrival and finishing times. I was extremely impressed. 4. The individuals at this company went above and beyond the call of duty. Rory was a pleasure to deal with; he reminds me of the neighbor you want to have because he has great advice, good contacts if you need work outside his company, and reasonable suggestions for what you can do to fix things, and to boot he was extremely available. He even answered our many calls with random questions off-work hours AND he volunteered to come out himself again outside of work hours just to help figure out the steps to fixing our problem. Debbie was affable and an organized presence on the phone. The other staff we worked with- Santiago, Rafael, Luis, and Felix- were all extremely courteous and hardworking during the projects. 5. They worked to coordinate with other contractors without me having to micromanage anyone. I had a roofing company, arborist/tree service, and vent cleaners on site. They were able to navigate their own working space and work in tandem on the roof with the roofers to replace the insulation on the cathedral portion of the house when the underdeck was ripped off, as well as add baffles appropriately. 6. They brainstormed to fix problems we were having at extremely reasonable prices. Example: The attic portion of my home was missing half the ceiling (had to be removed because of extensive mold damage) and they helped me place drywall so we could replace the insulation on the timeline we initially agreed to. It saved my husband and me a lot of money and heartache. What more could you want from a company? The biggest impression I walked away with is that this company actually cares about your situation. My husband and I were purchasing a new home in need of a lot of repairs. We have a toddler and I am third-trimester pregnant. With the move, the unpleasant relationship we had with the previous owners of our home, the strain on our finances, and the overwhelming stress of finding new problems everywhere we looked, I can only say I am extremely grateful we went with Madrona Home Services. "If I can give a 10 star review I would. Not only did they beat the lowest asking price but was done in 3 days when others told me 4-7 days and on top of that left it spotless for the drywall guys. "I have been a customer of Classic Insulation and Pest Control for close to 5 years, serviced by several of their high quality agents. Most recently, Jordan who was thorough checking every rodent area for signs of activity and setting up traps/boxes. We also get seasonal Carpenter Ant spraying to repel the insects from our historic farmhouse. Classic's prices have been consistently good, administrative contact and the quality of their service excellent. I highly recommend Classic Insulation and Pest Control!"

"DO NOT USE: We were quoted $6K for a shower kit install. Upon completion of the work, it was immediately apparent that the installation was defective and did not meet acceptable industry standards. Specifically: No water membrane was installed behind the shower kit, rendering the installation non-compliant with waterproofing best practices. No caulking was applied to seal seams, leaving the installation vulnerable to water intrusion and damage. The walls and surrounding trim were not plumb, which made it impossible to install a functioning shower door. A McLendon's supervisor subsequently inspected the installation onsite and acknowledged the poor workmanship. We were informed that the matter would be addressed, but despite multiple follow-up phone calls, we received no further communication or resolution from McLendon's. Nevertheless, the remaining balance of $3,100 was charged to our account without our authorization or consent and without any resolution."

"I don't usually write reviews, but definitely want to write one for Tekline Roofing. My brother in law recommended Tekline and we are very pleased we had their group do the work. Their customer service was excellent and they responded very quickly with questions. Norm was great at explaining the roofing process, how to get prepared, etc. The cost was very reasonable for the work that was done. Our home is old and has a somewhat complex roof and they definitely didn't cut any corners. We felt confident the work was being done well. The work took longer than expected, partly because they discovered there wasn't plywood on parts of our roof, something they couldn't determine until the old shingles were removed. Tha was excellent and came by our home a few days before the work started to discuss how they would protect our garden-landscaping. They daily placed tarps and plywood to protect damaging things outside and they cleaned up every day after 11-12 hours of hard work. Misael oversaw the daily work and took photos and the team shared updates and photos on a regular basis. At the end of the project, my garden looks great! The roof was just completed this week and they will be back to replace one of the skylights in our attic that was on backorder."
