"Kyle was very nice and professional he explained exactly what would happen. Alex called with the time he would be there and was on time. Gave me more space than I expected . My dog really liked him, she's usually fussy with strangers. He walked her around perimeter and explained how the fence works. Called Kyle a few days later, my dog was getting past the fence. He. Immediately called with the solution. So far, so good. I'm really happy I got the fence. Thx. Guys!!!"

"I had to contact the contractor several times, the first few times to explain what I needed.  He must not have written it down because I had to call to remind him about the date we had arranged. A little frustrating, sounded like he wanted people to use the coupon only if they had a larger job to do and my job was barely large enough to bother with.
The worker he sent out was very efficient and courteous and did the job well.

Animal Fencing questions, answered by experts

The best animal repellents for gardens include a variety of different scents. You can use predator urine to keep away deer, raccoons, squirrels, and more. The odor will tell the critters that your yard is a dangerous place. Other scents that repel critters are herbs like lavender, geranium, and mint. You can also use hot pepper, garlic, and strong-smelling soap.

What you should do with an armadillo after you catch it depends on what your local laws dictate. Often, it's easiest to relocate an armadillo rather than euthanize it. Contact your local wildlife control office or experts for information specific to your area. After removal is complete, be sure to repair any holes left in your yard or under your home.

The cost of pest control services depends on various factors, but the average homeowner pays around $175, with a typical range of $100 to $500. Your final cost will be influenced by the type of pest, the size and severity of the infestation, and the number of treatments needed.

Service costs also vary by frequency:

  • One-time service: $300–$550

  • Initial visit for ongoing service: $150–$300

  • Monthly visits: $40–$70

  • Quarterly visits: $100–$300

  • Annual visits: $300–$550

For specific pest examples, getting rid of spiders typically costs between $100 and $300, whereas a termite infestation can cost from $230 to $2,500 or more, depending on the extent of the damage.

Identifying the specific animal running on your roof at night can be challenging without direct observation. Common nocturnal roof visitors include raccoons, squirrels, opossums, and rats. Raccoons are bigger and can create heavy thumping sounds. Squirrels are agile and may produce rapid scurrying noises. Opossums tend to move stealthily with less noise. Rats can make scratching or gnawing sounds. To determine the culprit, look for signs like footprints, droppings, or damaged areas near the roof. For accurate identification, consult a pest control professional or set up wildlife cameras near potential entry points.

If you discover a dead animal in your air ducts, address the issue promptly to prevent unpleasant odors and potential health hazards. Turn off your HVAC system to prevent further spread of contaminants and contact a professional HVAC technician or pest control specialist to remove the animal and clean the affected area. They have the tools and expertise to handle the situation, including removing and disinfecting contaminated ductwork. The technician will inspect the ducts for any damage or other issues that might have allowed the animal to enter.
