We found a leathered granite we had not considered. It is beautiful. (not that super shiny look). He then went with us to select the tile, going to more than one store. He and his son did a great job installing-it was quick and beautiful. When I pointed out a place where i wanted more calk, he returned to the house and fixed it. "Yuriy (and Nikolai) did a masterful job of installing large-format porcelain tile in my dual-bathroom remodel. He worked closely with my carpenter to determine intricate framing for aspects like a subtly sloped shower floor (to facilitate a zero-threshold shower with linear trench drain), built-in t.p. holder, wall-mounted toilet and more. Yuriy made three different tiles (floor, walls and accent wall) sing. He nailed the grout-lines and gave experienced input so that I didn't make short-sighted, rookie decisions/mistakes. He and Nikolai were a pleasure to see every day (for two weeks!) and were reliable, prompt, long-working and didn't go missing or flake-out like most contractors can do. He recommended a great electrician and let me know that Octagon Construction performs full remodels."
