"We called them back in Oct for an estimate and they said they could get us on their schedule 12/01 FFWD to today 12/01. They came within the timeline they said (big plus) In my opinion the crew (of Brandons) went above & beyond. Took care of the tons of leaves the maple turns away every fall/winter My backyard looks better than it did yesterday! They were friendly, fantastic, fun, flipping amazing and our dogs liked them too. We recommend them to everyone who needs an arborist. They are responsive, attentive and execute their work and make it look easy! Thanks again!"

Customers say: True professional

"Martin Landscaping: HARD WORKER!!! Consistent and a MAN OF HIS WORD. I am so pleased with the results. They are BETTER THAN EXPECTED. Mature, pleasant and kind. I have not one bad remark to say. I would more than highly recommend Martin Landscaping for any yard work. We even discussed regular maintenance until the growing season. I hope Martin Landscaping will be there for me throughout next year as well. I will definitely need the help."

"Blake and the Arbor Barber team were fantastic! I had originally contacted four companies to provide me with estimates for cutting down two overgrown cherry trees. One company didn't show to provide an estimate and the remaining three were all within $50-$100 of each other. While Arbor Barber were the highest estimate, they were the company that I felt the most comfortable with. From the phone call with their office to schedule the appointment, to owner (Blake) that came to provide the estimate, to the crew that arrived to do the work, they were the most professional and friendly, and provided the most honest and pressure free estimate. The quality of the work was amazing, and I would recommend Arbor Barber to anyone that is looking for a fair and honest company to assist them with tree service."

"Francisco has been my “go to guy“ for all of my macro projects for many years. He limbs my fur trees, prunes my hedge (14’x14’x180’), winter prunes my 30 fruit, removed fallen tree from my house, installed new shrubbery beds. He is trustworthy, reliable, and excellent in what he pursues. You will love his generous smile and great attitude."

Arborists questions, answered by experts

Most plum trees are pruned into a vase or open wine glass shape. They’ll have a shorter central leader (the trunk) that supports three to four main branches. Of course, this isn't always the case. If you have a European plum tree, you can grow it in a pyramid shape. Let the central leader extend the length of the tree and prune smaller branches to create the pyramid.

Palm tree removal can cost anywhere between $100 and $1,800 depending on palm size, tree condition, labor, location, and the amount of prep work involved. With the necessary skills, a DIY palm tree removal for trees shorter than 15 feet can lower costs. However, it’s generally recommended that you hire a palm tree expert for tree removal.

It may not be worth it to rake every leaf in your yard, but it’s necessary to remove the majority of leaves to prevent them from smothering grass growth on your lawn. However, raking leaves isn’t your only option for leaf removal. You can remove leaves easily with a leaf blower or compost or mulch them with your lawn mower to repurpose them to help grow your garden or yard.

Homeowners are usually not responsible for trees that fall on power lines. Power companies usually have utility easements around power lines, which give them the responsibility to maintain any trees within about 15 to 20 feet of the lines.

Dutch elm disease can’t harm humans. In fact, according to Cal Fire, bark beetles aren’t even typically dangerous to trees unless that tree is already weakened. The problem comes when Dutch elm disease kills a tree. That tree is more at risk of falling and catching fire, which can pose a serious threat.
