Granite garage floors is a highly customer service oriented company. They installed an epoxy floor on my 1200 sqft Garage and workshop. The whole process from the initial contact, through their on-site visit, the quote and the installation was highly professional. Everyone was on time and the scheduling of the job was quick easy and flexible. I ended up with a 40+ mil beautiful epoxy floor at a highly competitive price. I would recommend them to my best friends and family and would use them again in the future.

It was good. He did a nice job. He was responsive to our needs, made sure that the project was done to our satisfaction, and the worker that he bought did a wonderful job on the painting.

So it's been 3 months since Granite Garage Floors - Baltimore came out and resurfaced our garage floor (20 x 20 = 400 sq ft) . I.LOVE.OUR.GARAGE.FLOOR!!! Their professional service was top notch in every way. Great communication and the job was complete in 2 x consecutive days. The floor looks fabulous. So glad we did this and feel THIS IS THE WAY TO GO in sealing garage floors for a permanent seal, texture, exquisite look and lifetime guarantee! It was late June when this was done and HOT. It took about 2 weeks for the off gassing to finally stop. If I kept the garage door down, the gases would build up, but after I left it up about 5 inches during the day, after a few days, the smell was gone. I would ABSOLUTELY DO IT AGAIN. If I did the basement, I'd wait until warm weather with open windows or doors and fans to promote the dissipation of the off gassing - but I would definitely do this in a basement, front porch, driveway, patio, or many indoor or outdoor locations. Easy to clean, too! 400 sq ft @ $2,500 = $6.25 per sq foot I feel it's an expensive floor finish, but worth every penny and I believe will last decades!!!

  • Stronghold Floors

This project went extremely well from start to finish. Mike came out as arranged (on time, COVID precautions taken) and surveyed the garage floor, measured, provided color selection options and explained the process thoroughly. Prior to his arrival he emailed several links to documents which I read before his arrival and thereby could ask intelligent questions. Stronghold's price was in the middle of the three estimates; however, considering this type of work is what they specialize in (as opposed to a few jobs in addition to other types of contracting specialties), coupled with the many outstanding (to include recent) reviews informed my selection. After contract signing and down payment, the two-day project was scheduled for about 4 weeks later. In the interim, Mike sent several emails with added information and reminders, especially to ensure the garage was completely empty. On the scheduled first day, the two-man crew arrived and after unloading their equipment began their work immediately which was the grinding process. When completed, they applied the Base Coat of Epoxy followed by the Decorative Chips. The next morning the crew returned to vacuum the excess chips and then apply the Top Coat of Polyaspartic Polyurea which also provides a degree of anti-slip feature. The "curing period" was a minimum of 24 hours to walk on and 48-72 hours to drive on. I wish I had taken some "before" photos because the results were outstanding. The crew was courteous, professional and cleaned up after their work on both days. Contract signing, payment, etc., was accomplished electronically. Considering the pitfalls of a DIY project (chemicals, lack of commercial grade grinders, specialized "flexible" coatings, etc.,) this is the way to go and well worth the cost. I now actually enjoy going into my garage and have proudly shown it to my neighbors.

Mike came on site and provided a firm estimate on the work to be performed. He explained his process, the materials he would use, and pros and cons of different garage floor coatings. He encouraged me to contact his supplier, Sherwin Williams (General Epoxy) for more information, which I did. Based on that, I moved forward on the job with Mike after receiving other estimates. His price was competitive, the entire job would be done with one company, and he could schedule the job when I needed to get it done. The quality of the work done was quite good, and Mike communicated effectively during the work. The entire project was done in four days - one more than estimated due to very high humidity that made the drying of drywall mud very slow. Mike communicated that change clearly, and it didn't cause any problems in the overall project schedule. I would use Mike again for similar projects. Thank you!

  • King Krete

We just used (Jul 2020) King Krete to epoxy our garage & lanai. We are extremely happy with the results. Derek & his team were professional & knowledgeable, responsive & reasonable. Their price was ~35% lower than another recommended firm. They took the time to explain the process and kept us apprised when they would be there for the next coat - with the rainy season, there was some weather workarounds but everything was done as timely as possible. They also had a trailer for larger garage items that they left onsite. All in all, I love the results - especially for the price! We will enjoy it for years to come!!

The job went extremely well! Granite Garage Floors exceeded all my expectations. I couldn’t be happier. From the in person estimate with Keith, to the install with Tony & his team, the entire experience was terrific. Communication with Keith prior to the job was excellent - he was always polite, professional, and very knowledgeable. Keith patiently explained what I should expect before, during, and after the project. The garage looks AMAZING! I highly recommend Granite Garage Floors.
