A month before I sold my home they cleaned the carpets; 2 days before closing I called Bill back due to water damage to the home. Bill was onsite mitigating the water damage within 40 minutes of my call to him. They were quick and professional with their water mitigation efforts and were also GREAT with managing the repair/renovation work. He went above and beyond due to my unique situation with the home sale. Thanks Bill for your calm, kind and professional manner. "Jose and his team showed up promptly every (9 am) day and cleaned up after themselves when the day was done (approximately 6 pm). Professional, courteous, and masters of their craft are the only things I can say about this job. The whole job took 2.5 days. I purchased all my materials and only paid Jose for the labor - $2200 (demolition of old tile and backing, tile installation, and associated plumbing with new shower diverter, faucet, shower head, etc.). Purchased my tile and grout separately, $900.00 - which he and his team picked up the first day of the job. Jose included the hardy board backer and the drywall for the ceiling as part of his costs. Things went so well that I when I examined the completed tile work, I immediately hired him to come back and patch / sand all my bathroom walls and paint ($375.00 on top of the tile job) this weekend. I will post pics of that when completed. My wife loves the new bathroom."

"Preston of G-1 Plumbing performed the services and addressed the toilet & drain problem. He was unable to stop leak(made it worse) & submitted his recs to Choice Home for review. I was unable to understand Choice Home's response regarding the faucet leak. Their review stated faucet needed to be replaced BUT it was under "builder's warranty." I built this home in 2005. There is no "builder's warranty" now. I cancelled the proposed work order & paid out-of-pocket. A Friend, who was familiar with my builder and knows faucet components, came to my home, adjusted/cleaned the faucet cartridge and stopped the leak. The CHW tech, Preston, is conscientiuos, however, IMHO lacked the knowledge & experience to stop my leak. Home Warranty Companies, at least in my area, hire owner/operators who need the work to build their business and are NOT the most experienced/knowledgeable & are willing to work for less money. In my experience, Home Warranty Companies want the CHEAPEST resolution, not the BEST. I would recommend G-1 Plumbing for most plumbing issues."

Contacted All American painting & Home repair company based on Angie's list reviews. Mr. Wayland (Eddie) arrived, gave us an estimate, took his time explained everything he was going to do and how he was going to preform the necessary work that needed to be done. We had a few set backs based on the  weather as this was all exterior work. Paula(Eddie's wife) kept us informed , excellent communication, as to when he would be arriving and when he was not. Eddie and his assistance Orval are hard workers, very detailed, very professional. Windows look brand new.

This is a family owned business, that provide outstanding service, we have referred him to our neighbor, we would not hestitate to use this company in the future. Very pleased. They are located in Front Royal Virginia just to make sure you have the right company.

"The work went well but was slowed by rain for a couple days in July.  There was additional work discovered that increased our cost because our initial builder had not insulated around our windows.  Also, the original trim was not installed properly by a previous repair company that had been hired to fix weather damage.  Chris and his crew made all the corrections for a perfect window installation.  They insulated each window, caulked, replaced trim &painted.  We can already tell a difference in how well the new windows keep our home air conditioning where it belongs....  inside the house!  Our thermostat has been set a bit higher than before which should result in a lower power bill.  This is the second project that Chris has done for us & both have been excellent.  We will definitely be using Chris again in the future."
