"After talking to and receiving quotes from 6 contractors we selected BK Contractors (Bret) for our remodel. The project included creating a new home office that needed to be insulated and sound proofed, a home theater, a kid’s playroom, half bath, and craft / arts center. Additionally, the hot water heater needed to be relocated with new plumbing lines run. Bret and his team were very professional and great to work with!!! Starting with the design and contracting process, Bret was easy to work with. He was more than happy to spend as much time as needed to help design the project. Like most people, we had a limited budge. Bret was able to offer options that allowed us to stay within our budge while maximizing our design. As for the contract, Bret’s scope of work and contract was thorough and left no doubt we select the right contractor. Within days of signing the contract Bret had the building permit in order and his guys were hard at work. The framing, electrical and plumbing rough-in were competed within a few weeks. All of his employees are very professional, polite, respect your home as if is it their home. At the end of each day, the work site was swept clean and the trash taken out. "The technician who came out to take measurements claimed that he was part of the design team for both this company. He also claimed he was a designer for the Devon Hill housing development in which I lived at that time, so he was familiar with houses and the kitchen cabinets. After he took the measurements, he promised he would send me a rendering of the design to my email, but I never received this design for a kitchen remodel. I tried to contact them at least once directly, but I could not speak with anyone in person. I left a voicemail that was never returned. Then I contacted Angie's List for assistance."

"Everything went great.  The guy who came out and accessed the damage was great!  They called in advanced, showed up on time, and he even got the door working before we signed contract to replace the panel.  He was all about customer service, and ABC should consider him a gem.  The service tech who replaced the panel was also great.  He also called before arriving, came promptly during scheduled time, and fixed the panel in a Jiffy. 
Overall, ABC did a fantastic job.
I thought we paid a bit more than I expected, but it's probably because the limited service dealers for our particular type of garage door...(one panel in a 4 panel door cost about 1/2 the price of a whole new similar looking garage door from Home Depot)
Lastly, only one criticism:  The rubber seal that surrounds the frame of the door on the garage had been torn after the accident, and the repair tech didn't address the torn seal.  The repair tech who replaced the panel suggested that I go to Home Depot and replace the seal myself.  Didn't seem like a holistic approach to garage door repair...just focused on the new panel.  With that said, would definitely use them again.

unfortunately we did not ended up getting the tek panels, was not within our budget!
