"Due to damage to the kitchen floor and a cabinet in my home, I needed to have a new floor installed. I also decided to have the flooring in the adjacent dining room and a nearby powder room replaced while having the work done. I chose KDK Home Improvements after getting work estimates from three different contractors. When he visited to provide an estimate, Dave was polite, answered all my questions, and gave helpful suggestions about the work. Among the contractors that I contacted, Dave was the best at providing the information I wanted without being pushy. His pricing was competitive with the others, but his demeanor and customer service helped me to come to an easy decision to choose KDK.
Once work began, Dave and his crew were hard working, professional and courteous. The quality of their work was excellent, and Dave was diligent about keeping me and my wife informed about his progress. Once the old, damaged floor was removed in the kitchen, it was discovered that there was damage to the subfloor and a portion of the wall that extended beyond our expectation. Dave was quick to provide an additional estimate on the new work and complete the repairs. Throughout the project I was satisfied that the work was being completed in a timely fashion. Dave was always available via phone and email. On completion of the project, the work and prep areas were thoroughly cleaned by Dave and his crew.
Should I need further work on other areas of the house, I will definitely contact KDK Home Improvements again."

"We contracted with Bowers Jr. Construction LLC to build a combination deck / screened deck on the rear of our home. We are quite happy that we chose Bowers and we're extremely satisfied with the results. Robbie promptly responded to our initial inquiry and came out to survey the job. Robbie was an attentive listener and quickly helped us secure the services of a draftsman to transform our ideas into a set of drawings. Once the drawings were complete, Robbie suggested we put them out for bids. Robbie's bid was competitive and we accepted it. After securing the necessary permits and HOA approval, the actual work started. Robbie and Brandon were very professional, diligent and efficient in getting the job done. They answered all of our questions and were fun to be around. They demonstrated exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail. When some of the delivered lumber was not up to his standards, Robbie returned it and selected the replacement pieces himself. He engaged competent subcontractors for the screened deck's gutters, shingles and electrical outlets and coordinated their efforts in a well organized fashion. He treated the work on our home as if it were being done on his own home. We are very pleased with our new deck / screened deck and would highly recommend Bowers to anyone."
