"Unprofessional visit. Showed up unannounced and we only knew they were there because one person stood 10 feet from our porch staring at us in through our living room window. My wife spent 10 minutes talking to them, they stated they had no business cards, they only had an appointment card but didn't present it. Honestly when you show up at someone's house you need some sort of identifier if your walking door to door in casual clothes. After the uncomfortable dead stare through the windows my wife and i have decided to post a No Solicitors sign. They didn't take no for an answer at first, pushing with more questions to circumvent the no she gave, as well as interrupted our dinner, as they showed up right at 6pm."

My door has not latched properly since they made some unwanted modifications to the hardware (it worked perfectly before they started modifying it).have had them out three separate times to fix the issue they caused with the door latch and lock. Every “fix” they do seems to make the problem worse. I would steer clear of this company for door installations."

It feels like there's something personal here, or maybe he quoted too low for the project, but in any case I literally cannot imagine a less professional way of handling this whole situation. My guess is that he showed up to the job to scope it out, then went to find a couple day laborers to actually do the work. Maybe he couldn't find any, maybe he realized that this job was too big.
