He was at the golf course while a crew he contracted did the painting, which was already peeling two weeks later. His cat door installation was so badly botched that it is going to cost $1,000 or more to repair, if it can be repaired. I may need to buy a whole new door, which will lost several thousand dollars. When I asked him to pay for part of the repair expense, he threatened to take me to court and sent messages such as this latest one: "You will get nothing until a judge tells me I owe you." Oh, and he hit on me, too. HIs lack of professionalism was as disappointing as the faulty cat door, but his angry threats afterward truly scared me.
Description of Work: My realtor recommended this guy to paint the inside of my new condo. He charged a lot, but I thought I would be getting top-notch work and he threw in installation of a cat flap in my balcony door.

Based on what i new door replacement slab would cost me and the 6 hours of additional handyman work she had me do, I feel giving the member $400 is more than fair for us to part ways. This is not an omission of guilt, but I just want her to leave me alone and move on. The member got a $1,000 credit for us not to paint trim. This trim was only thing I saw starting to peel. I offered to come out next day to touch up. The credit was for windows and doors to be replaced. I installed cat flap and added roof get by a few month until she could replace. I offered to buy and i install new door slab when I found our she wasn't buying from me. I checked on job everyday we were there and yes on 4th of July weekend, I was golfing in the afternoon. She is a writer and as going to help me with a golf idea I had, so now she used it against me. The member and I went to lunch made a date for following Sat. which I cancelled ahead of time because I felt weird about contractor/customer relationship. I have texts and emails to prove everything. The only thing I threatened was to defend myself if she chose to sue me. She paid in full. July 16th she sent me a text "Cats and dog happy..me too." Charles Soloman, owner.
