"This is the second big job that Ryan Sullivan and Resurrection Builders has done for us. The job this time was to complete a garage with bonus room that had been started years ago and then abandoned. Ryan really listened to what we were looking for, unlike the other contractors we contacted, and when we realized what we wanted was "pie in the sky", Ryan worked with us to bring the project down to a doable cost. The project took about 2 months once started. The crew was always on time, knowledgeable, and courteous. They wore masks when inside our home as requested, and cleaned up behind themselves. Ryan always let us know when things were planned or when something changed those plans. He was always quick to answer questions and address any concerns we had. We are confident that all work meets or exceeds code. We really appreciate the work and care of Ryan and his crew. We love our new bonus room and garage. We have already recommended Resurrection Builders to several of our friends and neighbors. We would definitely hire them again."

"Appleton Campbell just did a complicated 2-day gas furnace/AC unit installation attached our home. It was, probably, the most professional and well-handled vendor experience I have ever had, particularly with some complications that occurred due to things found after the old system was removed. From the sales process to the pre-project staff to the office staff who alerted me each time the crew was heading to my home, to the on-site crew of Mike W., Danny R. and Jake A., the experience was A+. Even when the one issue was presented, they came up with a solution and I remained confident they would. They were extremely clean and neat, during and after they were done. I did getting three bids for this and they were slightly higher than the others, but I felt more comfortable and frankly, I believe I got my moneys worth as they also had to fabricate and redo a complicated return and vent line, and they also moved the gas line, refrigerant line and other conduits/poles/switches to a more convenient area than with my prior (similar but older) system. In short, I felt like the value was there. They also included a Home Savings Agreement for one year and left me with a consolidated notebook of all relevant documents. Cheapest is not always better, and with all they did, the pricing was very, very close. I've known AC for years in the community, but only used them on a couple of occasions. I've become a huge fan and will use them again (I have other systems!)."

"While it is normal for remodeling projects to create chaos and to be the muse of many a horror story, this ended up with a very pleasant end result. We had a complete renovation down to the studs to bring things up to code, which included ripping out the sub flooring and quite a bit of pipes. Parts were ordered and lost and found. Things went on backorder and were discontinued. We fortunately had a fantastic crew. Ismar (the contractor) did an awesome job of making sure that everything was done to spec and built beautifully. He followed our wishes and came back on the weekend and late to be sure the work was done right. The only real challenges were with the design and oversight from the office, between the designer losing our design specs on the first pass and not communicating proactively about delays or back orders, but thankfully these were more annoyance than problem. After a few handoffs, we got Eric E. as project manager, and he saw us through the rest of the project with much better results and only about 30% oversight still needed from us. Overall, we got a great bathroom out of the deal, so 4 stars."

DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen? of Greater Fredericksburg provided excellent service and support throughout the entire remodeling process.  Steve Everett, the General Manager, planned and negotiated all aspects of the project from start to finish.  We were new to the process, so Steve explained all options and the implications of the various choices.  He made recommendations based upon the quality and durability of the options.  He regularly visited the work site to ensure excellent service.  At the final stages of the project Steve personally performed detail work, to address and resolve our concerns. 

All of his subcontractors were excellent.  They arrived on time, protected the interior of my home from any and all debris throughout the process, and were courteous and professional.  Initially the subcontractors laid down a plastic cover for dust protection.  They put floor runners in place between the work area and exit door.  These stayed in place throughout the project.  The subcontractors cleaned up and removed all debris.

 The contractor who handled installation of the shower valve, shower outlet, and handle bars checked with me regularly to ensure proper placement  of these items,  The tile people went a step above the contract requirements and put a corner seat in the shower for me!  The glass contractors explained out to properly care for the shower enclosure.
