"Tech Ted Edlin came 7/25/2013 to perform the termite inspection covered by the coupon I purchased.  He was on time,inspected under the house,around the house, inside the house,and the shed.
He told me that there was some moisture near the vents in the crawl space( I had been told this before by two other companies)
He said he saw no indication that termites had been under the house.  However,there were places on the shed that indicated termites had visited the shed. 
He recommended putting down vapor barrier,and access well and vent wells in front of the house.
He carefully explained what he would do,approximate amount of time it would take,and the monetary amount. 
He took the time to explain to me each step he would take. 
As I stated above,I had been advised twice in the past something should be done about the possibility of even  more moisture accumulating under the house.  But I was impressed by Mr Edlin's knowledge and expertise and patience.  I agreed to have it done, he scheduled the work to be performed 8/9/2013. 
8/9/2013, he was there exactly on time - 8:30 - explained his steps to accomplish the work to be done.  He needed to hook up to my well pump and the darn thing would not work so Mr. Edlin kindly asked for a pitcher of water and primed the pump so he could use the well water.  I really appreciated him doing that since I have arthritis in my hands and would have been able to take the piece off the top of the pump to do the priming. 
He then did whatever he needed to do with the water and asked me about plantings around the foundation of the house such as flowers and I explained the flowers were "volunteers"  and came back every year and if he needed to pull them out to do so.  I don't think he pulled very many - laid the dirt on a plastic sheet and drug the dirt to the back of the yard near my fence(after asking permission to do so)and I told him to put the dirt on the other side of some largish limbs I had back there from an earlier storm.  I told him not to worry about the limbs, I just leave them there until they dry out and I can easily cut them up.  When I went back out later he had cut the limbs down to a manageable size.  I truly appreciated that.
He said it would take about 8 hours to finish up every thing and by 3 or so he was finished.  Every thing was neat as a pin,looked really good.  He took pictures to show me how the plastic (poly vapor barrier thing)looked under the house and showed me the ductwork and so on.
I am really pleased with the tech Mr Edlin,the work,and the company.  I can't speak too highly of them.    Mr Edlin is a senior citizen's dream workman.
