My backyard oasis is now complete! They did an amazing job and overall completed really fast. They kept to the design we talked about and color of the stones came out really well with the color of our home. Customer service is amazing and very friendly. Thank you Marlowe’s We Care Co!!

Took longer than expected, subcontracted the work out, quality is poor and concrete is not level and dips in areas. What was agreed upon did not happen. The driveway was supposed to be 18 inches from my house and fence which was not the case so they dumped different colors of gravel to fill in the gaps.

Very disappointed for the lack of care and quality that went into the job. The job that they completed for me was completely re-doing my flower beds around the front of the house and around my large tree in the front yard. When I requested a quote, the company owner showed up to the house to sell me on the vision of what we could do, then after signing I got a bunch of kids that rushed through the job. Sold by the visionary, but work completed by young guys with a lack of care. -They were the most expensive of four quotes, thought I would get higher quality. -They didn't use the thick black material that prevents weeds like all three other competitors who gave me quotes did, they just sprayed weed killer (likely as a cost-cutting option). -Their young kids/guys who completed the job over-sprayed the weed killer a solid two to three feet all along the outside of the flower beds and killed a lot of my grass outside of the flower beds, as well as other areas of my yard many feet away from the flower beds. Just random sprayed spots where the grass has now been dead for weeks. Just use the black material like everyone else does....rather than kill a bunch of my grass.... -They left a bunch of clumps of grass and weeds in the flower beds that they never pulled out like they were supposed to, very very sloppy. I essentially had to go around cleaning up these clumps from the flower beds after they left the job. -They left two different rows of bushes completed lop-sided and not in a straight line along the house, they ended up having to come back another day to fix this. -They ended up leaving two empty spots where one of the young guys that was somewhat in charge told me he would plant two particular plants in those two spots, then just never did. So they had to come back another day upon my request to plant something in those spots. -They tried to charge me for additional plants that were already on blueprint/invoice sheet from the original quote. They ended up fixing this, but come on guys.... For this being the most expensive of the four quotes, I really ended up being the sucker....good for this company, they got another high profit job by selling the vision and then *well* under-delivering. I paid the invoice in full and moved on, but I would advise anyone else reading this review to not buy into the vision of the owner or his son, in terms of what picture they paint in your mind about quality. These two guys WILL NOT be the ones doing the work.

Wall only lasted a few months and began to fail and fall apart with wall collapsing in the middle. I have been trying to work with Marlowes, but they are only wanting more and more money to fix what they promised would last a lifetime and have not to this day completed there promises to fix my wall and erosion problems. They failed to get the building permits, Chesapeake Bay permits, I had to pay for an Engineer's survey and drawing for them to use and they still won't fix there mistakes without still asking me for more money. They are full of lip service and failed promises. I am highly disappointed, hurt, frustrated, and discouraged. I would not recommend them for anything, they are silver tongued and smile to your face to make you think they are legit. But are just delaying all progress and avoiding me. They need to fix the wall with the Engineer's drawing that I have and build it to code and the correct standards. Get it inspected to insure quality and endurance for the wall to last the lifetime as they promised.

After searching for a company to build a deck for 2 years, we finally came across Marlowe's. They suggested a patio instead and we are SO GLAD they did! It works far better for our backyard, and looks incredible! They suggested the layout of the patio based on how we use our backyard and it was a perfect design. Drainage was a huge concern for us, and they made sure everything worked perfectly with that. They were great with communication and they didn't mind that our kids constantly watching them through the process. We had them build a patio and an outdoor kitchen and it's our favorite place to hang out now! The whole team was very professional, very thorough, and made sure we were aware and prepared every step of the way. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Showed up on time and did a great job.

Repairs were made as promised.

Scott the owner set up estimate meeting in a timely manner and provided written estimate at the same time. I called 2 weeks later to hire and job was done the next day! Trent came to do hardscape repairs and did an excellent job. Both individuals very nice personable individuals. Would hire again.

Project was done quickly once started, maybe too quick though. The ground wasn't tilled and leveled, the metal edging wasn't dug in due to ground not being tilled, edging wasn't used at the gate so gravel spills into lawn (they did leave me a piece so I can do it myself). The crew was polite and presented themselves very well. Could've been some misunderstanding of what I wanted (details) possibly. Overall fair as the edging sticks 4 inches above the ground. Had to check no to rehire, but it's not a solid no.

Excellent, smooth, and very friendly professional service. Always going the extra mile to ensure the best quality product. Cleaned up during and after the project to ensure an eye pleasing work site to the very end. Very attentive and patient, always making time to keep you updated on the progress and guiding you as to what they are doing. Never intrusive, always planning and prepared for the job. Created the grandest retaining wall ensuring no more erosion and a more useful landscape for years to come.

Scott Marlowe came to bid on the project quickly and gave me a reasonable bid. DJ came and thought through the project and devised practical solutions for a few challenges. Scott called to let me know when the project would b done, and DJ and team got it done right on time. This company was professional, skilled, and courteous. I will hire them again!

Everything went well. We had to wait for the company's availability to finish other customer requirements. My husband call about 3 weeks later to check with their availability and the owner gave us date. They kept their promise and did a fantastic job. Pricing was good. A+

The Marlowe crew did a beautiful job on our patio extension and fire pit. They stayed in touch with us on every detail and made sure that our expectations were met. We made a change or two after the project was underway and Jake and his crew were very accommodating. These guys showed up on time, were courteous and kept our yard as neat as possible while they were working. We will consider Marlowe’s We Care Company for future improvements to our home. The work was done excellent and everything is working 100%.

They were excellent, very professional, checked in with me every day, and were very personable. They did excellent work and I would highly recommend them. I would definitely hire them again.

We're very happy with the sod job that Marlowe's have done. Our yard looks great now. The only issue I had was the crew showing up early in the morning unannounced but the issue has since been addressed by one of the owners. That's the only reason I couldn't give them an A for punctuality. Other than that, very pleased with the company, the owners and the crew.

They were the first one that I used and I still use them. I like their professionalism and the quality of work.
