Very steep metal roofing, intricate dormers and insets and several very high areas where trim boards required replacement. The crew from Worgem’s Painting was excellent. Great communication and friendly and informative. Matching paint colors perfectly and applying paint in as many coats as required to complete the job. The job came in at the price quoted and the price was significantly better than three other Angi supplied bidders on the job. A+ work all the way around. Staining or sealing a cedar deck will help it last longer. Cedar may be tough by nature, but without protection, it can still fall victim to moisture, sun exposure, and mildew over time. Applying a stain, sealer, or both creates a shield against the elements, helping preserve the wood’s strength and appearance.

If you’re deciding between limewash versus whitewash, know that both have a chalky matte appearance. Limewash is made from lime, water, and sometimes pigment, while whitewash consists of lime, water, white chalk, and binders (though you can get a similar look with watered-down white paint). Whitewash has fewer options for color customization, and it sits on surfaces instead of being absorbed into them, which can trap moisture. Whitewashing costs less—about $1.40 to $4.20 per square foot.
