"We hired Mayflower to turn our retirement condo into our perfect home. We did not want downsizing to deprive us of our most loved home features. The tiny kitchen was our first priority. Could we please have a microwave/convection oven, a steam oven, an induction cooktop, a dishwasher drawer, and a French door fridge with the newest tech for keeping produce fresh. We also wanted Rev-a-Shelf features to maximize storage space, including trash bin and pantry pullouts. And how about a deep kitchen sink and instant hot water for tea? It didnâ t take long for Nicole to show us designs. Everything fit together beautifully. Nicole added some open shelves to make the kitchen more spacious, and she surrounded our washer/dryer with custom cabinetry so it no longer looked out-of-place in the kitchen. The small laundry supply cabinet created next to it was the perfect touch. We did not even have to upgrade to more expensive cabinets to accomplish this so we were able to keep to our budget. Previous to this, I imagined improving my tiny bathroom would be impossible, but when Nicole informed me that my tiny bathroom stall could be enlarged by several feet because one wall could be moved back, I was excited! Then I was shown how my old cabinet had fillers on either side so extra space was lost. My new cabinet would have more storage space and also create more floor space in front of it. The chunky old toilet could be replaced with a tankless bidet creating more floor space, and giving me some luxury options like heated seat and self cleaning. My bathroom was going to be transformed, just like the kitchen. Having been through remodels at previous residences I was a little anxious about all this work being done while we were living in the condo, but the Mayflower crew were very courteous. All work went exactly as planned, protective plastic walls protected our furniture, and frequent email updates were sent to us confirming exactly what work was completed and what was in progress. Since I could see much of the work while it was being done, I was impressed by the crewâ s skill and pride in their work. We are now looking forward to having all our worn-out 40 year-old closet and room doors replaced. We know that Mayflower will have no trouble completing on schedule and at a price that we can afford. We are lucky to have Mayflower making our retirement dreams come true."

"Fantastic Craftwork!!! They converted my cheery wood shaker style TV armoire into storage/linen cabinet. I highly recommend them and it was at an affordable price. Plus they picked up and delivered. I am so pleased that I didn't have to get rid of the cabinet and can use it for another use. You don't get this kind of quality craftsmanship now days. A good tradesman is worth their weight in gold. Highly recommend."
"We are very grateful to Armagan (the designer), Kathy (the project manager), and Grover and Johnny (the renovation team) for all of their hard work on our townhome renovation! The place looks amazing! We started working with Armagan in November to pick out all of our finishes for the place, and immediately, he came up with a design that we liked and we agreed for him to start in December. By the start date, he had already ordered all of our supplies and cabinets, as well as applied for our building and electrical permits. Throughout the renovation, Armagan kept us informed on the small number of issues that arose during the renovation -- and asked us questions about the details as they came up. When we had questions for Armagan, he often would respond back within an hour (or, at the most, within the same day). The KBR team finished slightly ahead of schedule -- with all renovations taking approximately 2 months! After we moved in -- there were a few kinks to iron out, and KBR was more than happy to send the renovations team back for the day to finish up any last minute items. KBR was one of 4 kitchen and bath renovation companies that we spoke with in November -- and they came back with the best price, design, and overall team. We had much more confidence in KBR (after speaking with Armagan) than we had with any other contractors. We now know that we made the right choice and wouldn't hesitate to hire them again."
"Excellent service. Large selection of granite, work done on time and of excellent quality, very accurate in terms of measurements specified. I did the installation myself.
"The service turned out great. I was happy to find I could reface the cabinets instead of having to replace them and saved a lot of money. The cabinets have held up very well. The technicians were efficient and completed the job in a timely manner. I had no problem scheduling the service."
"I was combining bright white cabinets on the perimeter of my kitchen with a walnut peninsula. That required either getting a single granite that would work with both or two granites that would work with the different woods and each other. I had searched on my own a couple of times and was leaning toward a particular granite. Nick was able to talk me out of a bad decision. He then very patiently evaluated dozens of granites with me, pointing out potential problems with some, narrowing down to others. His expertise with stone helped me to choose beautiful slabs that work perfectly in my kitchen. I then purchased the slabs and they were delivered to his shop. His process (customer buys slab, Nick's crew fabricates the countertop) yields left-over stone in his shop. From this, he chose a perfect stone for my laundry room. He measured, then his crew installed a week later. For the kitchen, he was able to install less than a week after measuring. That is amazingly fast turnaround for granite fabrication. The granites were fabricated perfectly and look gorgeous. Very professional crew. Overall, it was a terrific experience. Stonework is as much art as craft. Nick has great taste and is willing to share that with his customers to help them make great choices. "
"The provider arrived on time. I was only interested in a partial remodel -- that it, the addition of some cabinets to my kitchen. He quickly drew up an estimate (which was quite a bit higher than a similar job done by Home Depot several years ago). Frankly, I began to wonder why I had paid someone to give me an estimate. Oh well. Maybe if you're having a major reconstruction job it would be worth it."
Costs range from $1,500 to $5,000, depending on the number of cabinets and labor.
Costs range from $3,000 to $8,000, depending on the material, design, and number of cabinets.
Buying a kitchen cabinet or finding an experienced cabinet maker is likely going to be your best option unless you have the necessary experience and woodworking skills. If you’re just replacing one cabinet base or one cabinet, making your own is entirely possible and more effective, assuming you have the right equipment.
A medicine cabinet on its own won’t add a lot of value, but is in general considered to be a good feature to have. Since any added storage is desirable, a medicine cabinet can improve resale value some. Making your bathroom more functional is appealing to buyers if you’re looking to sell your home.
If you have a drawer larger than 30 inches, you should consider adding two pulls, but, again, this decision is up to personal preference. Any pro you work with on cabinet installation can help you determine how many pulls you need and where you should place them.
