"I purchased a home and was thinking about having a few home improvement areas done before moving in. The kitchen was the biggest and most pressing piece of it, and I found Mayflower based on the great reviews they have online. It's my first time having a remodeling project done, and I will start off by saying that I would certainly go with Mayflower again given my experience. I worked with Nicole on the front end of the project -- design, budgeting, price quote, etc. Nicole was really great to work with, always responsive, attentive with what we prioritized and working within our budget. The only thing that I would say is that it would work best if you have a pretty good idea of what you are looking for rather than hoping to get design ideas or suggestions, because we got the default of having cabinets all around wherever there was space, which ultimately wasn't what we liked stylistically. Nicole was quick in adapting to our preferences and made multiple rounds of changes until we got to the design we wanted. Ryan was our project manager and he was also great to work with. On day 1 of the project we got the unexpected hiccup requiring a change order (note to self in future: learn to pay attention to cabinet toe kick design relative to your previous cabinets, or you may be looking at a surprise flooring job too!), which I wasn't happy about but Ryan made sure to talk me through the reasons and the additional cost was quite reasonable. Most importantly, the additional work didn't add additional days to the project, which I was super grateful for. There were a couple more hiccups over the course but it was clear Ryan prioritizes customer service and satisfaction. The only thing I wish was done better was trying to get the project wrapped up when it was 95% done and we were just missing the crown molding (which needed to be reordered for some reason)... it required a few checks to nail down the completion, but in all fairness we were dealing with snow, supplier timing, and the crew's availability. From a quality perspective, these guys really have done a superb job. I am very happy with our new kitchen and everyone who has seen it complemented on it. I would give them 4.5 stars, but since half stars are not possible, I'll round it up."

"Today's Design and Build installed a new vanity, which also required changing the position of the popes and of the lighting to match with the new vanity. Due to the drywall work involved, the project was more complex than we initially expected. Hakan was super helpful throughout the process and his company did a great job. The quality of their work was very good. They were also very flexible. - As it turned out that Wayfair had delivered the wrong sink top for the vanity, we had to order a replacement top and needed to re-schedule the finishing of the installation. Today's Design and Build re-scheduled at short notice and finished the work shortly after we received the replacement part. We can highly recommend them."

"First late me state up front that everyone at Granite Works Countertops was friendly and pleasant to work with.  This includes both the folks in the office and the workers in the field. 
In 2007-2008 I had my kitchen expanded and remodeled by Allan Homes Unlimited.   In on December 15, 2013 the kitchen sink collapsed. (I should write up Allan Homes Unlimited regarding this issue)
I called my favorite plumbers first thing on Monday. They indicated that they would need countertop experts to remount the sink first.  So I used Angie's list and found Granite Works Countertops.
I called their office to describe the issue and schedule a time for the repair.  Unfortunately due to the holiday rush of people wanting their countertop work done prior to Christmas the earliest date they could come was December 23rd.  Due to the holidays my work time was also constrained so they offered to call me at work when leaving their prior work site so I could leave and meet them at my home.  This was a wonderful accommodation as I was able to fulfill my work requirements AND get my sink fixed.
The only negative issue was that this was a two person job and they only sent one person.  He was great, but he could have used another set of arms.   I helped as best I could but my back is not in the best of shape.
This next section includes some issues but I do not see them as against Granite Works Countertops as there was no other way to perform the work.
Due to the sink configuration they were unable to use the preferred technique of bolting the sink to the countertop. Instead he constructed side braces to the cabinetry and held the sink up with a spare piece of wood while the glue dried.  Sadly this results in screw's coming through the sides on the inside of the cabinetry, but there was no other option.  I was advised that the wood holding up the sink while the glue cured, could be removed, but would be better if left in place.
Also, should the sink fail again, I should have plumbers come to remove all the plumbing work so that their is room to install the sink with a better mechanism (undercounter bolts).
The work is complete (and the plumber has since repaired the drain damage) and I am mostly satisfied with the results.  Ideally the job would have been done differently, but that was not an option at the time.
I would be happy to use Granite Works Countertops again..
