"The process went very smoothly.  There were several teams that worked on my project.  The initial workers removed all of the old insulation and trash left under the house during construction, and cleaned the joists.  Later a perimeter drain system was installed, and the final job was to insulate the foundation perimeter and install the vapor barrier.

He made the suggestion of the spray foam and the Friction-fit rigid foam board door panel to be installed behind our existing crawl space access door. Spray Foam in crawl space rim and band joist for air-sealing and insulation. He also mentioned before the foam insulation spraying anti-microbial solution on all crawl space wood substructure. We were also told we would get free a Wireless Hygrometer. It displays the temperature and humidity both inside your crawl space. It was all accomplished in a few hours. "The rep *guaranteed* I would see a distinct difference in interior house temp once the insulation was blown in... I have seen little to no change. After looking at the insulation, it was not spread out evenly in the attic, literally just blown in. It looked like an insulation mountain range. I did ask them to come level it off, which they did but I should not have to. I was impressed with the quote given but I guess the saying holds true, you get what you pay for."
