The Drying Co. has been serving Greater Richmond & the Virginia Peninsulas since 2002. We are a Home Performance Contractor specializing in Attics, Basements, Crawl Spaces, Foundations, and Gutters. Our goal is to deliver comfortable, energy-efficient, durable, and healthy home & building environments for all of our customers. We understand that no home is exactly like another, so we take all the time you need to discuss your concerns and goals. We then perform a thorough inspection of your home and develop a plan to achieve your goals. We want to make sure our customers are comfortable with the recommendations we make, so we will spend all the time you need to answer your questions. Our services include; Attic & Home insulation, Basement Waterproofing, Crawl Space Repair & Encapsulation, Foundation Repair, Duct Insulation, Dehumidifiers & Sump Pumps, and Seamless Metal Gutters with Leaf Protection Options.

"Thank you for your comments. I’m sorry I had to find out about your dissatisfaction this way. I take great pride in the work we do and the many customers we have helped. I am truly sorry for my office not communicating with you as we should have. There is no excuse I can offer. I would like to give you my findings from interviewing my team and share pictures of the work and have sent you an email detailing this information. I truly am sorry that we upset you in not being able to complete the additional room with the vinyl faced insulation and for the other concerns mentioned above, but the work was completed as specified and as the pictures show(included in my email to you), was in good quality. I feel our biggest failure was not responding back to your concerns when you emailed us. This is not how we normally operate. We have spoken with everyone who was involved in your project including the production manager and scheduling manager. We expect to achieve energy savings as a result of the work done and will monitor the energy bills over the next year and compare to previous to see actual savings.

I received an itemized estimate, and I elected to do some of the work myself (electrical and replacing the crawl space door) to cut back on overall expenses.
They got the job started faster and finished before the planned time. They did everything promised and I will use them again for my next project.
