Appeared to be very honest and knowledgeable with their estimate and not only looking out for the company to make tons of money but honest and fair to the customer on pricing. Save me bunches compared to two other ridiculous estimates received . I know bcuz previous company came back out and wanted to reduce their previous estimate by $3,000ð  ¡ smh

The rep *guaranteed* I would see a distinct difference in interior house temp once the insulation was blown in... I have seen little to no change. After looking at the insulation, it was not spread out evenly in the attic, literally just blown in. It looked like an insulation mountain range. I did ask them to come level it off, which they did but I should not have to. I was impressed with the quote given but I guess the saying holds true, you get what you pay for.

The initial experience was good - elimination of attic rats. The year contract was a mistake. I understood from the salesman that with quarterly service technician would check the attic for any sign of rodent return. On the first service confusion over whether we had paid for initial service. I finally pointed out to the office staff that credit card information was on the receipt. The latest service was a disaster. Unfortunately, the tech collects the check for service before he starts. We learned then that he could not go into the house. Really? How could he check the attic and treat the kitchen? The office told me than they should have notified but admitted that they had not. I want to terminate the contract and get a refund for the last service which was unacceptable. I was told by the office staff that the $86 for service was already credited to our account and there was a $100 cancellation fee. Rather than a prolonged battle over the $86, I suggested they apply it to the cancellation fee and I have sent them a check for the balance, $14. I have not heard from them yet.

This is by far the most incompetent, unprofessional and unethical company that I have ever dealt with. Not sure if this company is in the process of changing its name but I signed a contract with BioShield to get rid of Norwegian tree rats. In the process, I was suckered into getting an annual exterminating contract. BioShield was to remove/replace moisture barrier, remove/replace installation and seal entry points. The day before they came, we had a plumber inspect underneath our house because the company rep said that we had moisture under it when he did initial inspection. The moisture was due to lack of a gutter and no leaks were found. The next day, their employee, driving a BioGuard van, goes under the house and starts removing the moisture barrier. In the process, he knocked over a piling that had a pipe situated on top of it and broke the pipe. To put blame on the customer, first they said that the moisture barrier was on top of the pipe; not true. Then they said that the pipe was too short. True, the pipe was not up to todayâ s city codes, but more than likely did when it was installed many years ago. Regardless, there was nothing wrong with it before they went under the house. They came back 3 weeks later to complete the work. We had it inspected and discovered that half the insulation and moisture barrier were missing, and they used foam insulation to seal entry points. After many, many phone calls, they sent their own inspector. He told my husband heâ d hear from someone the next day. We heard nothing and 2 weeks later I filed a BBB complaint. A week later, another tech came to complete the job. I was hopeful it would be done properly this time as the tech had a roll of wire mesh to use to seal entry points. When he was done, he said that the contract only specified 300 SQ FT of insultation, and he was instructed not to install any. Nothing in my contract, nor the sales rep, stated anything about the amount of insulation to be used. What kind of company would leave someoneâ s home ½ insulted? Ohâ ¦ an unethical one. Had the house inspected again and found that the wire mesh was there just for looks and was not used, but they did spray more foam insulation in the entry points. Foam insulation to rats is like candy. They just dig and chew right through it. Might as well have nothing. To boot, they sent someone out to exterminate the house without an appointment. He just showed up at the door one afternoon. What kind of company does this? Not a professional one. A professional company always makes appointments. Itâ s called common courtesy. The BBB wasnâ t much help. Itâ s hard to resolve issues when dealing with an amoral company. The VA Attorney General really needs to investigate this company. I finally sent them a check for the full amount of the exterminating contract just to get on with my life. We hired another company to do what BioGuard/BioShield could not/would not do. Job was completed within a few days, not months, and was done properly. I know because we had it inspected. Itâ s a lesson learned; expensive lesson. Hopefully, you will take heed and never do business with this joke of a company.

I receive excellent, professional customer service from Elaine from Home Advisory! I explained my problem, receive a company name, BioGuard Pest Control and a number that can solve my issue. Elaine proceed to transfer the call to a BioGuard Pest control. I made my appointment the same day. I met Mr. Carlos, BioGuard Pest Control, he was prompt, courtesy, professional, and easy to talk to, thoroughly explained their services. Carlos and I performed a walk through in the attic. I explained that I wanted to have the attic insulation extracted, sanitize the area, secure entry points, disinfected, insulation replaced while eliminating rodents. I'm happy that Mr. Carlos, BioGuard Pest Control are able to provide the services that I was looking for and was able to secure a contract to have my problem resolved. I highly recommend BioGuard Pest Control, Thank you, Mr. Carlos!

This company uses watered down chemicals. The chemicals did not get rid of the pests, all it did was agitate them. In the many years i have lived in my home, this company performed their services, not like the other pest control companies. Their application of chemicals was less than half of what their competitors used and did not spray all the areas I thought need spraying. All other companies sprayed from corner to corner, Bioguard only sprayed the corners, did not spray the door ways either. The reason that I left them was because their technician lied to the company and I had to pay for it, The technician came to my home, put a note on my front door saying he was t here and applied treatment, but he did not. I was at home the entire day and he did not apply treatment to my home. He then told his company he performed the service and the company sent me a bill. I disputed the bill but basically the company said they would see me in court to get the money. I went ahead and paid them and told them to never return to my home again. Watered down chemicals. Improper application procedures. Lying technicians. Charging for services never rendered. I would HIGHLY recommend to NEVER use this company. I can not say enough bad things about them. I would give negative stars if the website would let me.

My experience with this company started out great, the service was prompt and professional until I lost my job back in Nov. 2018. I contacted Bio Guard Pest Control by phone. I explained my situation and was told that I was under contract for 5 sprayings and I had 1 left. If I canceled I would be charged a fee of something like $250.00 dollars. Well I said if I cannot afford to pay the $103.00 I definitely cannot afford $250.00 dollars. The older woman went on to tell me her unemployment experience and how she made 5 months or so. Long story short last service came and gone, I am still unemployed and have not paid the final bill. Furthermore, the company is charging me late fees as well as scheduling me for continued services, against my wishes. It pains me to see that they really do not care about their customers.

"Please Stop spreading lies, sir. There was never a $250.00 cancellation fee! The cancellation fee is merely the repayment of the discount you received on your initial service. In your case, it was $100.00. You made an agreement with the customer service rep to receive the last service instead of paying the cancellation fee (a $3.00 difference). Because you have not contacted the office to set up a plan to take care of the remaining balance (we are happy to work with you) then yes, you are getting accessed a $2.50 late fee every month. So instead of posting these lies why don't you call the office and set up a plan like you agreed to?"
